Strong start but dated design holds it back

As far as i could tell, there is no fake out. He’s really gone and its time for the Bat-family to step in. Unfortunately, after that strong start the games faults become apparent. The open world is lifeless and a snooze to explore. The combat is fine, but the lack of options at the start make it tough to keep going. It’s simply a bore to play until the characters get more powerful. Performance is also an issue as it can’t even maintain a solid 30fps. As for now i’ve tapped out of this game.

If you're a DC comics fan, there is enough here to keep you entertained. I got it for $25 on Black Friday though, with some coupons added to make it that low, so I do not think I would pay $70 for it though.

I mistakenly thought that this was a sequel of those games. I even went out and bought an Xbox series X just so I would be able to buy this game. I pre-ordered it and anxiously awaiting the day. It came out well it came out and it sucks. Don’t buy it. Arkham games have arguably the best melee combat of any video game series. This game turns it into a button masher I played it a few times and never played it again after that I feel cheated.
