    I purchased this for my son’s birthday and recieved it on 7/22/25. I assembled the bike on 7/28/25 and it did not work, with an error code indicating a faulty throttle. Over the past 2 weeks, I was told I must go through the manufacturer for repairs due to it being under the manufacturer warranty. I explained that i had purchased the Geek Squad protection but was tokd inwould still need to go through GoTrax. After three attempts to reach someone, i was told via email that I could send the bike back but i must pay for the shipping. I tried once more with Best Buy, going inside the store, where i was told to beij g the bike in a d they would either repair it or refund it. Today I took the bike to the store and was told that they are no longer allowed to accept e-bikes for repair or refund and suggested i contact Best Buy customer sevice by phone. After being on a call for an hour and transferred 4 times, the call disconnected after being put on hold. Basically told that its past the 15 day return period, and no-one could tell me what the geek squad protection could do since the stores are not allowed to accept them for repair. Super frustrated and disappointed with no resolution.

    Plastic parts and super long warranty claim.

    Bike works great when the parts do not break. The throttle is plastic and broke within a few months which the warranty company is going to replace the part but it has been a month long process as all the parts come from overseas. I wish they would just send a new bike as I will now have to take it all apart myself to replace one major part.

    Bike stopped working, awful warranty from GoTrax

    Bike stopped working after a few weeks...no damage or crashes, just stopped working...I contacted GoTrax support for a warranty claim and they were shockingly difficult. Initially they required I send the bike to them at my own cost before a warranty claim could even be started. Eventually they offered to mail a replacement part, but said it would take 3-6 weeks....once that time period passed I received another update saying they were out of stock for replacement parts and the only warranty option was to return the bike to them--this time they offered a discounted shipping label but still required I send the bike to them before anything could be evaluated....this is 2+ months after the bike stopped working. The Manufacturer is awful and does not stand behind their products. Best Buy stepped in and provided a replacement--but only after going through a very negative experience with the GoTrax Warranty Support

    The bike stopped working completely after 6 months….wont turn on. Best Buy won’t accept a return or provide support even though I’m a Total Tech Member and the manufacturer says the only way to make a warranty claim is to ship the bike to them at my own cost, far out weighing the practical costs of buying an alternative. Very disappointing
