Great little scooter!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to receive this scooter as we have never had one before but have been on the verge of buying one many times. I must say that I am not disappointed! Right out of the box you must do some light assembly; handle bar, seat and basket, super easy. Once finished the size was a little smaller than expected looking at the photo, so if you're tall you will look like an adult on a kids bike while riding, just MHO anyway lol, not that that matters. The scooter is actually quite heavy for its size however, so young children won't be able to hold this up on their own. As for things I really like about the scooter, the seat is fairly wide and comfortable, even for those of us with larger backsides. The seat height is super easy to adjust, like an office chair basically. It has a headlight as well as brake light. The basket is so perfect if you're trying to ride over to the corner gas station or party store because you can just place your bag in there and it's not going to fall out. So now I don't have to waste gas in my jeep for short trips like that anymore. My 13 year old had a blast riding it as did I! Would definitely recommend.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought it last November 18 for my 11yrs old son, and around January the bike won’t run even if it was fully charge. the battery light keeps on blinking and now it won’t charge. Had to junk now since nothing we can’t used it. A waste of money! Very dissatisfied with the product.

My first electric scooter and doesn’t disappoint
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The GoTrax Flex Voyager electric scooter came double boxed and packaged well. It’s really heavy! The delivery driver left it at our front door and I had to pull it a few steps up to our living room as it was raining at that time. This is my very first electric scooter so consider me a novice. I mainly got this for running quick errands and just for leisure riding at the park within the neighborhood. Thankfully, set up was a breeze since all tools you need are included in the package. Though I had to ask my husband to install the cushion seat so it can be tightened properly. Charging to full took a few hours but this was expected for it’s first charge. Once it’s fully charged, I took it outside after the rain had stopped. It took a bit longer for me to find my balance since I wasn’t used to just sitting down a scooter. But after a few tries, I got the hang of riding it. I rode it around the block with just a slight bit of uphill and downhill. There were some puddles along the way but it didn’t affect the ride at all. I only went about 10mph since the ground was wet but the brakes had no problem stopping the wheels. I am quite a petite person and lightweight so for sure the scooter can go a bit faster if I please. The basket is my most favorite feature. I had to drop off a small package at the post office just a couple of blocks aways and the box fit perfectly in it. My niece who is a bit heavier than me (180 lbs) did not have a problem riding on this scooter when she picked up a bag of groceries 2 miles away, that’s an additional load but she said she did not notice any difference in her ride at all. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Flex Voyager. I consider it a good buy for the price. I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can take it for a much longer ride in the suburbs.

Fun scooter
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This scooter is great fun to roam around the neighborhood or for me places like the drag strip or race track. I am 6'1 and anywhere between 210-220 depending on what ive been eating that week and it propels me along at near the advertised speed without much issue. Acceleration isn't tremendous at my size and it needs some assistance getting up hills but none of this is really problematic in my use case. My friends kids love riding it around and it has a bit more go with smaller people using it. Range is good with the 350w motor, depending on conditions you have around an hour of juice at full throttle. Includes a front light as well as a rear brake light for safety, also has a bell on the handle bars but its not great to be perfectly honest. Charge time isn't very rapid but as long as your plug it in overnight it'll always be ready for you in the morning. Included seat is comfortable enough for me, well cushioned and not too narrow to put pressure points in the wrong areas. Unboxing and assembly took me roughly 20 minutes, the scooter comes out of the box pretty much completely assembled other than the basket, seat, and handle bars. Once assembled it is easy to transport in a car or truck thanks to folding handle bars via simple latch mechanism. Overall this is a great scooter to play around with, if you are going to depend on it for commuting to work in a city or town you'll probably want to look for something with more power and more range but for me I'm happy with it.

The most fun we've had in a while on 2 wheels!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before you do anything else - be smart - put on a helmet and remember to obey traffic laws! With that out of the way, this is a lot of fun to ride and for some basic transportation, especially if you're not needing to be somewhere in a hurry. Just like a bicycle, be sure to lock it up as well if you're going to run into the store - it's small and light enough that someone can literally pick it up and walk away with it (ok, so, 61lbs isn't exactly light but it wouldn't stop someone from taking off with it!) It's rated for 15mi Max Operating Range & 15.5mph Max Speed - I saw just under that, then again I'm roughly 250lbs where as the max weight it's rated for is 264lbs. There is an included basket on the back end that is rated for 50lbs - unsure if the 264lbs includes the 50lbs in the basket or if it's just the rider. Regardless, both my wife and I enjoy taking turns zipping around the neighborhood - between this and an electric stand-up scooter that we have we both have a blast on a nice warm Florida day getting out in the fresh air and sunshine. Definitely recommended if you like to "get out of your cage" once in a while and cruise the neighborhood!

Who said saving money wasn't cool
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a blast with this thing since I got it. First of all easy to set up easy right out of the box put it all together and it's ready to go. I live in a pretty tight knit community so to take my sports car, or gas guzzler as I like to think of it out to a local bar which is within walking distance, can be a little much and ridiculous. This thing can get me there in no time. I don't have to worry about parking because I could typically park right out front. Not to mention I also have other close by businesses that I frequent including FedEx for quick pick up and drop off delivery. The pickup is actually accommodated by this bike as well because it has a basket on the back so I can actually carry a few things as well. All in all it's just an awesome bike that runs on electricity to have. Doesn't take up a lot of space in my place. Charging is easy and simple. Plugs right into the wall, don't get it confused with what it takes to charge up a eco car like a Tesla or something. It's not safe for children but you can get away with riding to the mailbox in it. They think it's great. I wouldn't recommend this for children under 12. Just from a personal preference standpoint. But if you have mature children who maybe have been riding for quite a while and have some experience then you can chance it a little bit. Definitely get one for $600 I'm saving tons of money and gas going short distances. By the end of this year I calculate I will have saved an average of $1,000 in this year alone and I just got this a few weeks ago so I will have saved more in less than a year than what it cost. Definitely get you one

A Good Scooter For Flat Terrain
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here is my review of this GoTrax Flex Voyager Electric Scooter w/15-mile range and 15.5-mph maximum Speed with which I rate 4 out of 5 stars. The scooter was nicely packaged with plenty of reinforced corrugated cardboard inserts, styrofoam, and zip ties. There is some assembly as follows: attaching the wire basket to the rear frame, attaching the seat to the seat tube, and attaching the handle bar to the stem. You will need to check all remaining screws and nuts for tightness allow with checking the tires for proper inflation. Here are some installation tips you may find helpful. When setting the seat height, be sure to tighten the quick release handle as hard as you can. You may need to wear a pair of thick padded gloves as the quick release handle is very narrow and digs into the palm of your hand. When tightening this with bare hands you cannot get the proper tightness and the seat will slip into the seat post upon sitting down on the seat. Be sure to check the brakes for any adjustments to ensure proper stopping. Fully charge the product until the charging light changes from red to green. As for riding the scooter and to put this into perspective, I am 6'4" tall and weigh 230-lbs. I found the scooter small for my frame and would be better fitted with a handle bar riser and seat extension. This scooter should have a buyer's height range so potential buyers can make decisions on proper fitment. So with my weight and the scooter only having a 350-watt motor, it will not traverse hills well. I would only recommend this scooter for those living in relatively flat areas and those riders having a height no more than 6-feet tall. Having both of these aspects will allow for proper speed and rider comfort. As for the fit, finish and function, this scooter has nice solid construction, great paint finish, and some nice functional aspects as follows. This sooter as a font headlight, a rear brake light, two keys (not sure if they are universal), a mechanical signaling bell, and LED battery gauge. There are some shortfalls in the scooter considering it's price point. I would like to see a speedometer, odometer, or pairing of this device to your smartphone and app to provide this information. I also find the throttle difficult to use being its placement on the inside of the right handle bar grip. This makes for difficulty in the right hand grib and would prefer a thumb throttle instead. I hope you enjoyed reading my review and it aids you in your purchasing decision.

Will not pull hills for adults.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for myself I am 5' 6" 170 lbs. Worked as described on flat surfaces, this will NOT pull small hills, you will have to get off and walk the hills. My grandson is 7 y/o and this works good on both flat and hills. This product would work well for a kid not adults unless only flat surfaces.
