    Fast Scooter...Built like a tank!

Let me start off by saying I have been in the e-scooter market for a while and finally found the one I wanted. This scooter is built like a tank! When I was putting on the basket the steel material reminded me the same material used on my treadmill. I am 5'-10" 220 pounds for reference On to the review... SEAT RATING: 0 OUT OF 5 It appears GoLabs was set to make a universal seat. It appears they designed a seat that is universally bad. Couldn't find a spot where my behind felt secure and comfortable. The pointy part of the seat dug into my left inner thigh really hurting it. Thankfully the seat can be swapped to any seat of your choice as it uses a standard seat post. I had a real hard time fastening the seat to the pole. Would not tighten down right. Also the quick clamp for the pole was really giving me a hard time. POWER RATING: 5 OUT OF 5 This little scooter has some fast pickup. When I turn on the throttle it snaps my head back a little. I managed to hit a top speed of 16MPG on a slight incline with wind at my face. My neighborhood is designed like an oval racetrack. I leaned into the turns while hitting full throttle and this scooter kept the tires seated with no skidding. MILEAGE RATING: Not enough miles on it to say I only put about 10 miles on it driving around the neighborhood. Strange enough the power meter always showed three bars. Not sure how reliable that is going to be. Charging was pretty simple. The port is on the bottom side of the scooter. The weather plug pulled right off and I have to figure how to get that back on. The small power brick gets extremely hot during charging. I recommend charging it in the garage. The scooter is UL listed so that makes me sleep good at night. LOOKS RATING: 5 OUT OF 5 I plan to let the kids put tons of sticker on it and possibly spray paint the frame something fun. The coating on it is very industrial looking. No issues with it. The little scooter looks cool. Extra thoughts: Comes with an extension for the air pump. I didn't see this noted in the manual. Out of the box all you have to do is unfold the handle bars, lock the bar in place and then screw the handle bars on. Keep note of the orientation of the handle bars. Power meter and key go on the right hand side. It will be the side with the throttle. Not really a fan of the handle grip throttle. It is all the way towards the inside of the grip. Wish it was a thumb accelerator instead. The brakes are decent. Not hydraulic but they stop you. You also can stop the scooter with your feet. The tires are tubeless 14x2.5/64-254. The tread is basic road tread. I was thinking to put some stans tubeless juice in them to prevent flats from thorns and stickers. The welds look pretty decent. The tires are not quick release. My front light came pointing up. So you might need to adjust yours. The rear light flashes when you pull the brakes. rear suspension but no front fork suspension. The frame is pretty stiff. Has fenders in the front and back. Kick stand holds the bike up and stays up during riding. The basket is a nice touch. Not sure why they put blue lock tight on the screws. If you use the included allen wrench it is a pain to take them off then on. But then you don't want to use a power tool to strip the metal. The basket should of had head slots so you didn't have to remove the screws all the way. Either way once screwed down the basket is there for life! Packaging: 5 OUT OF 5 Hats of to GoLab for boxing this up with cardboard rather than styrafoam. Very sustainable packaging. Box is big! Thank you delivery person. The scooter struggled a little going up the incline of my driveway. It never stalled. Oh yeah you can run with the lights off as well. The ignition has off, on, on with lights. No speedometer included. Wear your helmet. Protect your head.

The GoTrax Flex Voyager is a really cool little electric scooter. With my weight being just under the max capability for the scooter I was a little concerned that the 350W motor would not be powerful enough for the Flex Voyager to be fun to ride for me. Immediately on my first ride I knew that was not going to be the case. More on that in a sec. Set up was incredibly easy for the Flex Voyager. I received the scooter at about 11am on a Saturday and I was out doing a test ride for functionality checks 15 minutes later. The only tools needed to complete setup are included in the package. The setup was straightforward enough that I didn't actually look at the instructions until after I was finished, just to make sure I didn't miss anything important. I'm fortunate that despite living in a very suburban area that my neighborhood has a restaurant and a few stores accessible without having to get on a main road. My neighborhood is also mostly flat, although there's a long shallow hill on the neighborhood street that is the most direct route to the closest convenience store. I found that the 350W motor in the Flex Voyager can handle this hill well enough even with a few bags of junk food and beverages in the basket behind me. The hill starts immediately after turning onto the street so there isn't much run up to build up speed. I found that by the top of the hill the scooter was still very slowly gaining speed and had reached about 11 mph. What's interesting is going down the hill the motor actually disengages to keep the speed below 16mph, I assume using regenerative braking to keep below the limit. On that note, I have found that if you apply the front brake the motor actually engages to slow the rear wheel, so I don't actually use the rear brakes much. The suspension is actually very impressive for such an inexpensive scooter. You get dual shocks for the rear swingarm as well as springs built into the seat. On top of that, the seat itself is very plush and cushiony. I deliberately went over some stormwater drains expecting a jarring bump and found it was still comfortable. There's no shock absorber for the front wheel but most of your weight is on the back tire so it's not as noticeable. Likewise, the scooter comes with front and rear LED lights which do an acceptable job considering you shouldn't be riding something like this in the dark anyway. The rear brake light strobes/blinks when you apply the brakes, which does make me feel a little safer. Really the only things I'm a little disappointed with on the Flex Voyager is a lack of speedometer/more informative dashboard, and no mirrors. I went out and purchased a cell phone mount for the handlebars right away, and I'm thinking of doing the same for a single mirror to attach to the bar ends (which will require trimming the rubber grips). This will make me feel a little safer even on neighborhood streets with a 20mph speed limit. If you've been on the fence about getting an inexpensive e-scooter, the Flex Voyager seems like it's well worth it for the price. It's super fun to ride for me and I'm pretty heavy. For a smaller person it will be an absolute blast.

OK, I got this electric scooter for my daughter to go to school. But after trying it myself first (To ensure it's safe for her, of course, not for any other purpose!), I must admit, this thing is really fun that I'm considering maybe I should tell her it's not safe for her. (wink, wink) Putting it together was pretty easy, except the seat part is a little clunky. Everything is well manufactured and the build quality is impressive. The charging part was easy and fairly fast. I wish the charging cable that comes with it is a little bit longer. With 2 cars in the garage and shelves along the wall, trying to position the scooter to charge as close as possible to the wall is a little bit tough. I'm not sure if we can use an extension cord to charge it, so we opted to plug it directly on the wall. The seat is very comfortable and pretty cushy but still firm enough so you don't feel wobbly when you hit a bump. I am seriously impressed with the design of this electric scooter. Everything is very well thought of. Now, the question remains, do I give this to my daughter or should I keep it for myself?? Hmm...

I was wanting a electric scooter for a while and this was right on my checklist and a great price point, first off is speed now this can go pretty fast at times when at full bars it goes 14-16 miles a hour it can get you pretty far to places you need to get but a tip i recommend is try to cruise more and not use to much full blast this makes the battery last longer and it usually will last a little longer if you do that 7/10, durability now it’s pretty heavy and tough I have fell once and it holded up pretty good definitely if you want to be more safe you can wear gloves this is a option but it makes it more comfortable and easier to ride 8/10, accessories now there are things on the scooter that already come with which saves some money being led light, basket, ring bell, red light on back, etc and I think this is why this makes it worth the money cause you don’t have to spend money on these cause they already come with the scooter 10/10, and charging time is about 5 hours but that’s not to bad 9/10, and for things that are a con is sometimes it cant be as fast at times but I don’t really mind it and one thing is the seat if you don’t tighten it up enough it will sometimes constantly move and spin so make sure it’s tighten but other than that. Great product for the summer slash fall and definitely recommend

So much fun!!! I wanted this scooter to jet to the neighborhood pool this summer and it is perfect for that! The basket lets me put my towel, sun screen and drink and off to paradise I go or maybe a small ice chest in the basket and a backpack… not sure. It also has a small hook on the steering column that is nice for a small bag. The basket can hold up to 50 lbs! They say it’s not about the destination but the journey and with GoTrax Flex it’s for sure true! Its peppy! And the ride is butter smooth. The 14” tires and rear shocks really make the trip just smoooooth!!! No bumps or sidewalk cracks to feel vibrating through my feet. Just comfort and the wind on my face!!! I have a kick scooter which I also love but with no storage makes it hard to really commute. I also like that on my GoTrax FLEX I’m seated which is really nice. The seat is exceptionally comfortable as well. Just be sure to tighten it down on the post so it won’t slide. It says it can go 15 miles for range and 15mph in speed. I have not gone that far yet but I have driven all around my neighborhood and a nearby nature trail with no problems. It’s well built and feels solid! Getting out of the box and set up was a breeze as well. I love how easy it fold up to fit in a car for a road trip to a nature trails that are paved. I don’t think it has the power for off road trekking. Something to consider though…If you have a lot of steep hills….you might want to go for the GoTrax Campus Pro with the 500W motor. 350W is great but my neighborhood has some pretty steep hills and with a stiff headwind…has some trouble getting up the hills. If you have pretty flat terrain or mild hills, you are probably good to go with the 350W motor. It’s also IPX4 so some water splashing on you will not be a problem! The drum breaks are good but you will not stop on a dime… which might actually be good …you don’t want to go from 15mhp to zero in a second! The charge time they say is 6 hours but it really depends on how much juice you have left over from your previous ride! The head light is ok. I don’t really ride at night much but I would not ride in pitch black with this headlight…the headlight with some street lights works the best! I’m not a huge fan of the bell (nitpicking now) but you can upgrade on your own or just tell the people you are coming up on to watch their left. I do really like the kick stand…really nice touch. If you are looking for a fun commute, a quick trip to the pool or just cruising around on paved trails…GoTrax Flex will keep you moving in style! I really like being in the seated position on such a comfy seat… it much more relaxing that a kick scooter! It’s a quality build with style, function and a ton of fun on board! I am going to drive the wheels off this thing!!!! Can’t go wrong with this one!

My GoTrax Flex (campus) arrived yesterday while I was vacationing in Sedona. I couldn't wait, so I drove back and forth to pick it up. I had it assembled in about an hour. It comes double boxed, and very well packed. Substantial packing material is in the box and it does a great job of protecting it. It comes with the tools to do the full assembly. The handlebar needs to be installed, but the handlebar stem folds up for more compact storage. The seat needs to be attached to a seat pole stem which has a hand lock to snap it into place. Other than that the only other assembly is attaching the rear basket. My scooter arrived with a nearly dead battery, A full charge took about 5 hours. The charging pack has a led on it that changes from red to green when the scooter is charged. It had gotten dark, so I didn't want to try riding until the next morning. If you've been lucky enough to have been to Sedona, you know it's quite hilly. On the handle bar there is a key to start the scooter, and to turn the headlight on (off/on/on w/light). Once the scooter is on the battery gauge illuminates (Full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4, empty). I rode for about an hour before I was below 1/4 battery. My first ride on the scooter was up and down numerous hills, all paved streets. My first impression was "wow is this thing solid". Little bumps on the 2"x14" tires were almost unnoticeable. The scooter does not have a speedometer, they claim the top speed is 15.5-20mph. Going down hill I suspect it goes more than 20mph. Going uphill I doubt it goes faster than 10-12mpg, but it gets there. It rides at a comfortable speed on flat terrain. Having rented electric scooters in sseveral locations. I compared the ride to those scooters. This scooter is more solid and it handles much better. The larger tires seem to give it a more comfortable ride. After about 10 minutes of standing I finally sat down on the seat. The seat is fairly wide, soft and very comfortable. I found the wider foot platform (base of the scooter) was a great feature, I'd not thought much about it. I also found that riding seated was quite enjoyable, even relaxing. It's different from riding a bike seated, where you typically are moving your legs. Sitting with your legs firmly on the platform is more like sitting on a couch with your feet up on a hassock, but with wind in your face. I really like the idea of using this scooter to pick up a few things from the grocery store, the rear platform with a basket behind the seat makes that so much more practical. Once I get a decent lock I think I'll start using it for that when the weather is nice. I'm really impressed by the scooter's stability. It was really easy to get it into my SUV just lowering 1/2 the rear seating, and not collapsing anything (something I can't do with my eBike). I kind of wished it had a speedometer (just for curiosity's sake), and wished it had a range more like 25-30 miles. The speed seems very comfortable. The front and rear brakes slow you down and stop you, but not too quickly (if you slam them on you won't go over the handle bar). When you apply the brakes the rear reflector lights up and blinks (a great safety feature). The front led headlight is nice to have, but I don't think it's bright enough to allow you to ride at night (safely). I believe the scooter weighs about 60 lbs. The rear suspension can be adjusted. It includes a kickstand and reflectors on the wheels and frame. The battery can not easily be changed and the throttle has no markings on it (a raised area would have been nice). The scooter includes a 2 year warranty. I'm very pleased with it, I think you will be too.

    A Cool E-Scooter

The GoTrax Flex Voyager Scooter is a great scooter choice if you're looking for a new means of getting around. The Voyager is a snappy and quick ride just pull the throttle and you're zooming, it can roll as fast as 20mph and gets up to 18.6mi of range use. The seat is made from a plush and comfy foam so you'll be able to ride the entire battery comfortably, which onky takes about 5hrs to fully charge. It has an IPX4 rating so it should hold up in light rain if you get caught unprepared, but I don't recommend leaving it exposed to the elemnts for long. Aesthetically, the scooter looks great in grey and black with its storage basket (12" x 12" x 5"). Setting it up is incredibly easy and all the tools you need to do so are included. The scooter is key start/lock and it comes with two keys, so you don't have to worry about someone just hopping on and riding off with it. As much as I really like this scooter it has some details I don't like. The biggest issues I have is that Flex Voyager might be a regional or mislabled name because on the GoTrax website this scooter is listed under Flex Campus Pro. Also there is no speedometer to see your speed or preset speed settings, like low (limited to 12mph) and high (full 20mph), which would be good safety features for teen and inexperienced riders. The next issues are small or can be easily fixed. When I was setting up the scooter the front wheel and steering column/handlebars didn't line up and there was a slight angle to it. This was was a quick fix though and only required 5 minutes and an alan key set. The led headlight is underwhelming it doesnt illuminate as much as I thought it should. It has a wimpy little bell, which isnt exclusive to GoTrax, alot of scooters on the market use bells, but this needs to be phased out for a little electric horn, its a much more audible alert and makes it a bit safer to ride. These issues combined keep me from giving it a perfect 5 stars, but depsite these issues I still really loke the scooter. Overall the Flex Voyager is a fun and cool ride, great for getting around campus, rolling around downtown, or just cruising up and down the neighborhood for fun. I was getting a ton of people stopping me to ask me about my scooter and if they could test drive it on my first ride around the neighborhood. I absolutely reccomend the GoTrax Flex Voyager.

Great scooter, I like the size I’m 5’10” and 270. The range they state is for a 150lb person so it’s to no surprise that it’s not going to go that far with a bigger dude riding. Build quality is beefy and suspension is adjustable. Scooter feels rock solid while riding. We found the basket fits a 12pack of barley pops quit well. Highly recommend for people who wanna just buzz the neighborhood or go on 3-4 mile wobble pop runs!!

After renting a similar scooter to traverse across downtown San Antonio, we got this one. The price is fair for the item. The speed is appropriate for casual rides, but the acceleration is gradual. The scooter does not do well with hills and you can't ride in wet conditions. The lights are small but enough, I fitted mine with rearview mirrors for safety. Anticipate adjusting the shocks and breaks as each come pretty tight. The seat is ample size, but can get a bit hard after about 20 minutes of riding.

I’ve been riding the GoTrax Flex Voyager, and below are my thoughts: [PROS] - Simple Setup: Putting the scooter together is much easier than it looks. Assembly requires screwing in the handlebar (already attached), seat, and basket. Once everything was installed, I was ready to go. - Range Distance: The scooter is rated for a range of 15 miles which I decided to put to the test. I’m happy to report back that I did manage to get over 12+ miles before I had to pack it in before nightfall. - Versatile for Different Heights: I’m 6’0, and my wife is 5’5’. We found Flex Voyager very comfortable for riding despite our height differences. Neither of us had to adjust the seat before switching places. [CONS] - Overnight Battery Drain: I charged the GoTrax scooter upon delivery, but wasn’t able to use it until the next day. When I started it up, I already noticed that the battery was already down a notch. - No Speed Info: The display on the device only contains battery information. It would be very beneficial to have a way to toggle between speed and battery info. [CONCLUSION] The Flex Voyager is a fun device to use to travel in downtown areas and in the park. I found that my rides matched up closely to operating specs, but I did notice it’s best charged up right before use. Despite this caveat, I would still recommend the scooter.

Got it for my son to get back and forth from work/college. Of course I had to try it before he did. I bought it duhh. Sucks on hills, but once in flat roads it does the job. Of course the more a person weighs, the slower it goes. Hubby and brother tried it too. A bit heavier than I would have liked for portability when not in use. I would have liked the acceleration to have been on the handle and not a lever on the handle but that’s ok. I like the lights for night riding and the basket for possessions.

I always wanted a electric scooter and when this came up, I know I have to get one. Well it has it's good points and bad points. The item came fast and it was in good condition (packing and such) so I was excited to get this thing on the road. Please remember I am 6' and 235lbs as I describe things in this review. Some tech specs to be aware of: 350w single motor system. dual braking with 2 brake levers footboard it about 7" across, so not a lot of room to spread the shoes out. Here are the things I noticed about this scooter. Good: 1. Large wheels, to make going over small cracks and holes a non issue. 2. Handle bars are good length and feel sturdy when using it. 3. Seat is comfy and has good spring to it when bumps do occur. 4. Charges in under 7 hours (others seem longer) so you can ride and recharge in shorter time. 5. Not too heavy, so packing it up and transporting is not much of a problem. 6. Comes with all tools needed to assemble/tighten/loosen the scooter to your needes 7. Good milage for the size. 15.5 miles at up to 15 MPH (depending on rider weight and incline of road 8. Comes with basket for rear installation. It can handle up to 35 pounds with not problem (unless you go over the 264 lb weight restriction with rider and other items) 9. Front and back lights are quite bright and work great in low light and night time (although it is not advise) 10. Good speed for the engine size. sit down, strap in and you are off in a jiff. Bad: 1. Seat is not the same as shown in the ad. I was expecting a saddle style. But it ended up with a smaller simi diamond shape. Which is less comfortable and tends to make your legs slide around more. 2. 350w single motor is good for flat land, but anything above a slight incline it can not make it. Even being under the weight limit, it would struggle 3. Charge port plug (rubber nub) gets in the way when trying to charge. Would not be a issue if you never expose it to moisture or splash a puddle. 4. Throttle is far left portion of grip and it turns up and down. This means if your hand moves even slightly it will reduce your speed very quickly. It would have been better to use a thumb lever or use the whole grip as the throttle (like a motorcycle) 5. There is no information on the display other than charge. So no distance, miles, speed or anything to help you not get stuck without power. Needless to say, it does work and it is fun. But since I live a slightly hilly area, I will have to find something else with more power.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
