The color match isn’t as expected when in Video mode. I tried recalibrating several times but the colors are off in some areas.

The Govee backlight adds so much depth to my movie experience at home. I love how much color it adds to the room.

It wouldve worked better with a 65” but it works as expected

Awesome if the camera was made to hold a thin TV even with the cube holder I have to either tape it down which I haven't yet about to or just push it back to starting position

The light strip definitely gives a fun new way of consuming your content. I just think the camera method can be a little finicky and inaccurate. Still govee is great when you already have other govee products.

At first, I was doubting about this product. I said its just some regular LED lights and woooowww!!!! Once I calibrated them and turned off all lights and started watching movies is all I want to do now

I heard horror stories about the ambient lighting via fisheye but decided to try it anyway. It’s decent at best but breaks ambience too much for me to not notice it. I tried mounting it both on the top and the bottom but a few things I noticed were: - slow response time, colors would lag (when it caught them accurately) which just breaks your immersion, especially during intense movie scenes. - picture not being caught and general accuracy. I tried reconfiguring more than a dozen times and I still can’t get it to capture the picture accurately. - reflections being caught. If you have a bright TV and/or the TV with LEDs against the wall with a white paint on your ceiling, the camera will probably catch ambient reflection and misinterpret the color, causing severe lagging in the color until you hit a black scene. Even as just an LED backlight, I’d say it’s not worth it as it doesn’t get very bright. Overall, I’d recommend just saving your money and getting a proper sync box (with an external streamer if you use your TV’s native streaming apps). I guess the only perk would be ease of install and a simple app. If you’re not nitpicky and the above won’t bug you, you could utilize this.

Just looking like a wow, these lights are super good.

I love the product. It makes my Tv look great the lighting changes with the tv movement. Best Buy made it easy for online ordering and pickup at the store.

I bought this item and it look great once installed however it stopped working 3 weeks in. The lights would not connect to the app and then stopped turning on. I troubleshooted directly with Govee and they would have provided me with a direct replacement product but I purchased it through Best Buy. The model with Govee is newer for the same price. Camera is different but the light style is the same. Not sure if I was sold a defective product.

These lights are great. I used to have regular led lights on old tv. These are great with iys adaptive color for whatever is playing on the tv screen. Takes a bit to calibrate. But its worth it in the end.

Exactly as advertised and prepared quickly. Was in and out. Great experience!
