Excitement turned disappointment

Thay tried it twice and couldnt get past license sections. I got through the license sections for them and then they started playing more. After 2 hours, they were done. I played for about an hour and lost interest. Needs to have more of a backstory. Need for Speed and the Crew had backstories. I know its a racing sim as i remember playing it as a kid on my Playstation in 97 at Christmas time as thats all i wanted. Somehwere along the way, the game has lost its value. I slightly being able to take your car to dealers and selling it to upgrade. There was no coffee shop, stadium, and all this other stuff. It was just cars, racing, cruising, and having a good time.

FYI there’s an 8 minute short movie at the beginning that you cannot skip through the first time. Great art, decent soundtrack, classic GT.
