Not an arcade racer but not the strictest simulation either! perfect amount from both worlds!

Overall great racing

Great driving physics for the most part, some cars do behave like they are heavier than they really are. AI for competition is hit or miss. Sometimes they will go off the track or mess up which is great, but they will also slam their brakes on right in front of you and engage in behavior that would get them kicked out of a race if they were real players. It has been like this for ages and shame on Polyphony for not addressing this obvious flaw with opponent car AI. But that's just nit picking, all in all a really fun racing game and looks fantastic on PS4 Pro in 4K and HDR.
