This was a gift......but the graphics look amazing

Great game with good physics and great graphics. Mostly picked up for the vr mode but it's pretty limited, good, but limited. Not playing in vr is good but I'm still a forza fan over this GT.

Back on playstation after a few years, ive been playing forza as a racing game and while gt sport is not as good it does many other things well and is very close to forza. Good game but forza is a smidge better.

I hesitate to even call GT4 a game. I'm new to a game system. Haven't had one for probably 20 years. Picked up a new PS4 and bought GT4 with it. I knew everything has gotten much more advanced but playing it on my 65" Samsung SUHD TV is amazing! Now all I have to do is hone my driving skills. I've never raced cars in real life but I have raced motorcycles for years. I'm familiar with how a car reacts to inputs and the basics of high speed driving tactics. To make the game realistic, the controls are touchy but they have to be. The game has a driving school that teaches you how to control the car from a very basic starting point. The school has you using different cars (from a Mazda Miata to a Bugatti Veyron) so you can become familiar with the different abilities of the different cars. This is where you realize how realistic the game is. If you push a car too hard going into a corner too fast, under braking the front end starts losing traction and starts drifting to the outside line. You can feel how some cars have better driving characteristics (better brakes, better acceleration, worse understeer, etc, etc) You earn points/rewards as you accumulate miles and tasks as well as earning new race cars that you keep in your garage. You can alter the driving characteristics of the cars if you want to. The game is definitely one that lets you learn and grow as your skills increase along with your equipment. You can even customize the paint scheme as well as your driving suit and helmet. If you get bored with this game, its because you haven't used all its resources available to you. You can race with other drivers online. I'm extremely impressed how realistic they've been able to make the cars work! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

A Very entertaining and beautiful game the graphics are very real like and the game play is challenging but easy to learn everyone can play this game

This game has become way more than a racing simulation, which ruined the game for me. This game brought it back to basics and with that it becomes the game everyone loved. From the attention to the brake calipers to dirt being kicked up , it’s all there.

Been playing GT since the first. Love the addition of VR mode. This game is awesome. Cant wait till GT7!!!

Got it Black Friday. Great graphics, great sound. Not many cars though but that can be fixed with updates or micro-transactions. Get it if it's on sale.

Such an awesome, in-depth racing game. I've always loved Gran Turismo games, and this is by far the best. Very immersive and incredible graphics and sound.

Gran Turismo does it better than anyone else when it comes to racing games. Visually it is beautiful, the sounds and the tuning, they do everything right. Feels real.

This game has great graphics and is really well done. I prefer F1 2018 for it's realism but this is a great addition for any racing fans gaming library.

Gran Turismo has long been the front-runner in realistic driving simulators and this title does not disappoint! It is great to see this Playstation exclusive still making laps and reaching the checkered flag. A must-have for PS4 gamers and all racing fans!

Excited to finally have a GT for PS4. The only downside I can think of is how much the game relies on online connectivity. Read up on that if you are planning to buy this for someone that will not have online access.

Has a lot of options when it comes to selecting cars. The graphics are great and very realistic. Love playing this game!

Best racing Sim there is! The vr is really cool! Have to have a Internet connection always that suck and a big download from the start.

Imo, this is a great game. People give it a lot of flak for a bunch of reasons like no career mode and lack of other features at launch (not enough cars, etc). However, it's just following the current trends of DLC add-ons, mostly free that get released post-launch. This has just become the protocol for game releases nowadays and while I'm not entirely satisfied by that method, it is how it is. As for the gameplay itself, I believe that it is superb. It manages to showcase the high quality real driving simulator near perfectly, and for that, I'm quite pleased.

Starting with the good, There is no more beautiful racing game on the PS4 period. Very crisp images and well copied tracks, the HDR is implemented so well from the sun reflection off cars to headlight shining on the inside of the cars and the sun breaking through the clouds in the morning an evening im in awe(4k hdr tv a must!). The core of the game is lacking in content that, im sure they will role out over the next year, leave it to polyphony to ship an incomplete game. So if you can get the game on sale go for it but it is not currently worth the 59.99 retail price.
