I religiously played GT5 and when GT6 came out, it had consumed me. I loved playing the campaign career mode and moving through the different worlds and obtaining new vehicles. But that was on the PS3. I have the PS4 now and when I learned that GT sport was coming out, I was ecstatic! Playing the beta version made me realize how little of a choice there is among the cars. They have duplicates of the same vehicles among manufacturers which is very disappointing. I have a 1080P and not a 4K TV, but I thought the graphics were better on GT6 also. The other annoying factor is that it needs constant online connection which is frustrating. They honestly dropped the ball on this one.

If you are a big GT fan, like me, then this is TOTALLY different and you will be DISAPPOINTED. I have played EVERY Gran Turismo game since the playstation inception, I am telling you now, they have COMPLETELY changed the ENTIRE gameplay. It is geared SOLELY towards multiplayer online gameplay. No more customizing, no more visual changes, no more racing mods, and oh yeah, NO MORE FUN. If you want to race with your friends in cars picked by the game, go for it. If you are a die hard GT fan, you will hate it. I have literally bought new game consoles to play the latest and greatest GT. I am REGRETTING my latest PS4 purchase and will return to GT6 on my PS3.

Gran Turismo Sport is a good racing game, however it's severely lacking in the amount of cars and tracks compared to Gran Turismo 6 and especially Forza 7. The gameplay is great and thankfully they have released several updates to add features to the game. I would recommend to anyone for $20 but not the full price of $60.

I'm so disappointed for spending $75 on this garbage. There's almost no aspect of the game to upgrade car parts like all the other past releases. The money is for helmet skins, car colors and cars. There's barely over a hundred cars.. Nothing impressive like other games. It's all online only multi-player basically as well. My favorite part about this series was the ability to tune up and upgrade cars in many ways. Not in this game! Stay far far away. They have destroyed their reputation and the name Gran Turismo has a stain on its name forever. Thousands of people online are in uproar over these things all across reviews, forums, etc. Don't buy this game!

It is a bridge game to something else, not meant to be as immersive as the preceding versions in PS3 and PS2 formats. Many complain about the lack of features such as gaming modes, cars, track etc.. but this wasnt supposed to be a fully enriched version anyways. It is a good preview of greater things to come.

GRAN TURISMO IS ALWAYS TOP NOTCH RACING. WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF CARS AND COURSES TO CHOOSE FROM, AS WELL AS AN INCLUDED VR PERSPECTIVE, THIS GAME IS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!

As someone who has played every granturismo and someone who has been extremely excited about this game, finding out that 95% of the game requires to be online is a deal breaker for me and I refuse to by this game until they fix this broken game... Life long gt fan I'm personally enraged by this...goodbye gran turismo

I don't ever write reviews, even if something sucks, I couldn't be bothered to write a review. But I'm not standing silent on this one. This game frankly, without exaggeration, is unplayable. You cannot save your progress in this game unless you are playing online, so in essence, offline mode is nonexistent. This game is an utter major, disgraceful flop, of epic proportions. Total disappointment.

I bought my ps4 pro few months ago hyped to play gran turismo sports ...very disappointing game. I don't understand how this game got approved for release, it should have been a $10 game. I recommend you wait few more months to see if they release any good updates prior to purchasing the game.

Well what can I say. I was so excited about this game release, I couldn't wait for it to be released. I instantly went and bought the game thinking maybe that polyphony actually listened to the customers and really put in some time and effort into making this game really something to be proud of. But instead they half assed it and did nothing. Everything that we have grown to love is now gone. You can't upgrade anything on the cars you can't tune them anywhere what they should be. I've been a huge Gran Turismo fan over the years and I've owned every single version of this game all the way back to the beginning. This has got to be the biggest let down in Gran Turismo history and their team should be ashamed of themselves. For the money that we pay for these games they should be getting better every time they produce a new version. I can safely say that this will be the last Gran Turismo that I purchase and I expect that many more people will have the same reaction. Goodbye Gran Turismo and hello to project cars 2.

Was looking to purchase an PS 4 so I could get back to the GT racing game that I have been playing for years. Now I see by reading product reviews that unless you want to play online your only able to play a limited area of the format. Sorry, I won't be buying PS4 or the new GT game. I have not played online games and don't plan to. Lost a sale there Sony.

It's just like other gran turismo's. It has over 27 courses, over 1000 cars, simulation of using cars, contest racing match with other people.

As always Gran Turismo sport looks, and plays great unfortunetley the online mode is a disaster, 9 out of 10 races start with someone wrecking you in turn 1, spinning you out and into a wall, and you get huge time penalties on top of it, the guy behind you that wrecked you gets a small penalty while you get a huge one for hitting a wall. I lose an average of 6 spots in the first couple corners of every race, and get penalized when someone dumps me. Its a horrible online experience

This game will be good for people that dont own a VR headset, but if you have a vr this game will not be VR online like Dirt Rally, I was so excited at the beginning for this game but not anymore after this news.

Lacklustre single player mode with horrible servers making it difficult to play online mode. I wouldn't even recommend if all the dlc came free.

I like that GT pushes the license and driving correctly (no bumps or crashing), but the game is pure online focused.

Well, the hype was awesome leading into the release of this game. But I must say, I was totally disappointed in its gameplay. The graphics look good (especially HDR), but the gameplay just lacks. I played it for 15 mins then hated myself for spending $60 to buy it. DriveClub for the PS4 remains to be the best driving game...period.

Waiting for so long. GT was the reason I bought PS and everyone since. Now PS4 doesn't even have a true GT game to play. Shame!
