Great game for an adult gamer. All the hype surrounding this game led me to purchase it. It has an exceptionally long single player mode with the emphasis being on relationships. Controls can be a bit tough at times, but easy to overcome. There are so many different missions it is crazy. The attention to detail in the game is unbelievable. The game is rated M for a reason - its intended audience is definitely adult!

I agree that this will be the best gta ever and its gonna be the best for ps3. Everyone says xbox is better but no way. Ps3 has the shiz graphics and free online, internet browser, mp3 and mpeg player, plays blu-ray dvds and you can upload photos from your camera and a whole bunch of else. This gta also takes place in my opinion the best map in the gta series: Liberty City. Its gonna be amazing.

Grand Theft Auto 4 for the PS3 is a fun next entry in the series. As a newcomer to Liberty City, you make your way through the game, making a new life for yourself with the help of your funny but troublesome cousin. Along the way, you make new friends, new enemies and engage in missions that bring you from low level criminal to big time crime lord. FUN!

After getting off work knowing that you did your best at being a good person this game allows you to end the day with a blast. You love the freedom of being able to roam around finding thugs to wack and cars to wreck. Laws are made to be broken and this game allows you to definitely break all the laws. Just don't do it at your day job. This game will keep you busy for hours on end.

First off, i have a 60gb system and have NO problems with game play or freezing, and i've played a continuous 8hrs 13min 29sec according to ingame stats (some are just trying to find low points), and yes the game is huge (don't see how that can be a con like some post ?) Rockstar has once again set the benchmark. The game is huge, if ya thought GTAIII was big and liked it, this will blow you away. New controls for almost all aspects of the game at first made me worried, but within minutes and the nice way the incorporate tutorials (not true tutorials) into the missions just added to my enjoyment. Driving has the biggest change as they have gone to a more real driving vs the arcade style (so no taking corners at 200mph everytime without flaw without some major skills). The LCPD take no guff, just bump a squad and your wanted. Plot line is outstanding, even the wife will sit and watch, as one major game critic said "it's like playing a Martin Scorsecee (sp?) film. Love the open game play as in previous GTA's and even that has been opened more. The Spc Ed with the bonuses just made it all that much better, and with the future showing good cause to believe the rumors of downloadable content coming ..they are already doing updates had to download one today (keep it up, make it the best possible).... well can't say enough, how can they ever top this with a GTA V"

This game has amazing graphics. it is very fun to play and online is not bad. This games brings what we all loved about the old GTA's . Free roaming city , and lots of carts to steal. The aiming system has significantly changed for the better. the cover system is sweet. Its just a great game all around. This game has a lot of violence and i do not recoment it for kids under 16.

WELL...you read all the other reviews...it's pretty much a great game, ALMOST TOO GOOD. But my only gripe is that it you have the 60 or 80 gb ps3...it'll freeze up for sometimes up to 15-20 seconds...making you want to roll your eyes to the back of your skull at times. Everything is OVERDONE, the city is HUGE, too huge, sooo many commands, soooo many actions, soooo much stuff to do...it's like the Sims meets the Matrix...i think...

GTA IV blows away all previous editions. There are a lot of things to do in the game. For me, it never really got boring. I guess I just wish that there were more side missions you could do in the game. It just seems like they reduce that each time a new one is released. Other than that, it is a great game. Some missions get kind of boring...but it is well worth the money.

great game story mode is good graphics are great and online is just amazing

Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the greater games to have been released recently. It has an awesome story line that is full of personality and twists. After beating the game, it is fun to have friends over and see what each other can do in the immense city. The only two problems I had with this game is that the national guard does not arrive at six stars like in previous games and the handling of the cars seems to be a little off.

This game is by far the best one yet in the GTA series. Rockstar has once again created one of the best games on the market, with it's cutting edge gameplay, fantastic missions and that extra edge that games should include in the times we live in now. I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of the GTA series or if you are looking for the game that has that extra edge.

Overall great game! Good-looking interactive environments. The story (plot) is captivating and funny. The environments are much more detailed and specific compared to previous GTA versions. The only dissapointment I found were the sub-par graphics that reminded me so much of San Andreas. This didn't impress me one bit. But, without a doubt, this game is still a must have. Don't rent, buy it as soon as you can...it's addictive!

I love the new cars and the graphics when you crash are absolutely AMAZING. The only thing that takes time is learning the driving controls. I stole a car and then backed up instead of going forward... ran into a cop... so yeah other than that this game is a must-buy for any GTA fans. Rockstar has really blown me out of the water with this new addition to the GTA Series

THIS IS BETTER THAN XBOX360 VERSION. IT HAS BETTER GRAPHICS. THATS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE. but ther's also the sixaxis for driving vehicles. but just those two things really make a difference. but ther's such an open world that you could explore, and so much ways that you can die that make it soooo fun. if you have a ps3 or xbox 360, this is the #1 game you have to get

Fun game, worth the money. I like the taxi cab feature which lets you get into a taxi if you don't feel like driving. Plenty of things to do in this game, it will keep you occupied for awhile. So I feel it is worth picking up. I don't like on the missions where you have to redo the whole thing if you don't pass the mission. But overall can't complain. Fun game.

I believe this is going to the best GTA ever. Just the graphics alone should be enough reason for the purchase. By far the PS3 is one my best purchases and playing this game is something I've been looking forward to for a long time.

This game is intensely good! There is always so much going on. You really feel like you are in a real environment and that everything going on could really happen. Absolutely amazing. The voice acting and story telling are superb. Every extra (comedy, variety show and television, etc) contained in this game is hilarious and richly satirical of modern pop culture. It just blows me away at how diverse and immerse this game world is. It's an absolute must have. The controls are fantastic. Every vehicle and weapon has its own unique feel. The characters all have diverse and rich personalities and stories. You can even forgo the main story and just live a virtual life. This game is incredible. On the negative side. The graphics aren't as good as the XBox 360 version. It's not a huge difference or in any way horrible, but you can definitely see the difference. The XBox has the edge b/c of the ultra crisp and clear graphics as well as producing a brighter and therefore easier to see picture. However, I do believe that the PS3 produces better textures and a more convincing City Haze effect on the horizon. Other than this small draw back, this game is near flawless. You have to give it a try. You'll definitely get your money's worth!

From GTA3 this has certainly improved in every single aspect of the game. Once you start you cant stop, you will really enjoy the missions and story since the main character has a more interesting story in this chapter of GTA4. The game also allows you to be more involved in your social life to make it more real and at the same time this also will help you achieve more in your adventure since you might meet some well conected people along the way. All this and I haven't even played the multiplayer. This game has previously had a decent replay value just for running around the city creating chaos but now you also have the social life, kind of like the Sims, as well as different types of multiplayer games. It has a value of more than $60 if you compare what you usually get for $60 with other games. if you are already thinking about it, just go and get it, trust me you will love the game and continue to enjoy it for a long time. Grand Theft Auto IV is definatley a game you want to add to your collection, it has a great storyline that makes sense and has numerous tough decions in the story that decide which way the rest of the story will go. And the best part is you can start a new game and play the decisions differently to see the other outcomes. Its great buy this!!!!

This is one of the best games out for the PS3. I wouldn't say buy this for your kids, unless there stable, and can handle this violence, and language. GTA 4 is really the best open world games you can get. I mean all i can say is this is a Christmas present for anyone who doesn't know what to get for there buddy, just have to be 17 to buy it.
