This game was worth the 2 year wait. The graphics are great and the gameplay is also great. This game gives you much more variety than the previous grand theft autos. Multiplayer is pretty good, very good for being the first Grand theft Auto in the series to have multiplayer, and this game almost never has a lack of players online. A great buy for anyone that likes the grand theft auto series.

I loved this game overall. Its a fun game that lets you basically do almost anything you want. The location is amazing and the realistic world is great. The story is deep and interesting with plenty of twists and turns as well as tough decisions. Its a great looking and sounding game as well. Overall this game is definitely worth the money as you get to so much in one game.

the game has a good story line and it is great. the realism is outstanding but it will sometimes suck. you can fly through car windows. everything else about the game is AWESOME!!! as in san andreas you can go to gyms but this feature is not available in gta4. DEFINATLEY BUY THIS GAME!!!

Overall i'd say this is a great game for mature gamers. It has many of the features seen in other gta games, and even more new ones. GTA4 has a good story and many interesting characters. I would say one of this game strongest points is the online multiplayer ability. The game has a good replay value but the multiplayer makes it a definite must own!

This is my first experience with the Grand Theft Auto series and I love it! The story is great, and the missions take you all over and make you do a ton of different stuff. I am no video game expert so I have found a few missions difficult and it's taken more than one shot to get through, but it's worth it. Oh and Vladivostok Russian radio ftw!

GTA IV is a stellar game. It improves upon past games in the series in nearly every aspect. Things of note: this game is a great game to play on a bad weather day, you can sit and play for several hours without getting bored, the missions stay interesting and in the city there is plenty to do. If you have any friends that have the game, I recommend that if you know anyone with the game take the opportunity to play the multiplayer game modes. The multiplayer is what gives this game replay ability after you have beat the game there is def. no problem going back and destroying the city with your friends and then running from the cops. The downfalls of this game are few and far in between, the city is smaller than San Andreas and the police are a bit easier to get rid of. Additionally, for fans who love to customize their character this isn’t as friendly. You can change your outfit and go to the different stores and find clothes that fit your style but anything else is standard. Other than that it is nearly flawless. With that being said I would recommend this game to anybody that loves to blow things up, run from cops, and cause mass chaos in this New York City look alike.

Ever since I was about 8 I discovered Grand Theft Auto. It Actually started with The Second Grand Theft Auto. One of my brothers friends, played it. I never asked to play, until one day my brother brought home Grand Theft Auto 3. I asked him if I could try. I did, Went absolutely insane with the gun. It is horrible actually. I just shot every random person. Than he bought Vice City. I loved it too. Years later, I met a friend in 7th grade, I went to his house, was playing a video game, He was playing Vice City. I screamed and begged him for me to try it. I haven't played since I was 9. than He also had San Andrea's. Than the same friend reserved Grand Theft Auto 4. I was freaking out, especially when he got it. I played it with him. Once I think I played it for 3 days straight. Today, I bought my own, and I'm playing it as I type this. I can seriously either pass missions, or if I'm bored I'll go into a park, and beat people up. Its a good, good game just, Its a little addictive. Especially when It's summer.

I am not a fan of this series. That said, I can't stop playing. It is like being in a movie and you are the main charactor. I have never played a video game that had me so totally involved. I can't get enough. It is like I am really there. I have the xbox 360 version and I can hardly stop playing the game. The controls are simple. The graphics are a little too real. I especially like the way the game teaches you as you go along. This is all before I even tried the online version. Ok back to online. I paused this review to try the online and my first impression is also amazing there is no lag and the interaction with real player make the game even more real. I would recommend this game to anyone over 17 as it's content is truly adult. This is a must buy for any gamer other than kids. I only wish it was also out on PC as I prefer PC controls. Bottomline buy it if you can find it.

The interaction with the citizens of Liberty City is great. Fun to play. However, you can't save the game if you want to quit and play at a later time, even if you follow the story line. The game will allow you to save at different scenes, but it takes a while.

This is a must get game. The gameplay is amazing and the ending is great. The only downside to this game is since the new patch driving can be somewhat of a pain. Also the running system is really annoying. But other than that the game is a amazing game you should defiently buy this game if you havn't already picked it up

This game is outstanding. The graphics are sharp, the game-play is smooth and the story is very good. I enjoy playing this game. Even after the game is complete, there is still hours of extra side-missions that can be played. Very good game overall.

This gta is the best out of all of them.You are allowed lots of choices and lots of weapons and new abillities.The multiplayer is great and the graphics are the best yet.The coolest thing is the new cars. Sure, Grand Theft Auto is Grand Theft Auto.. but hey, this game completely blows the other ones away. The graphics, the game play, the real factor. This is truely an amazing buy. If your looking for that "great game" that never ends and satisfies all your needs, this is it. Buy it now, believe me.

I rarely get a game and constantly play it for hours. I try to time myself on my play time so I'm not stuck in the house al day. But this game gets me so involved with it I just don't want to put it down. I enjoy playing this character because even though he is STILL a cold blooded killer, he is the most liked out of all the GTA main characters that I have played. The vast open scenery is key cause I don't like playing a game when the backgroud fades away or just pops up like a block before it configures into a building or a mountian. Using the controller is also quite easy to used compared to the previous games. The driving though is too loose and you tend to swerve around alot (Especially when you are riding a motorcycle). All around this game is huge and deffinitaly entertaining.

I won’t beat around the bush: Grand Theft Auto IV is the greatest game to come out for the Xbox 360 so far. I say that without reservation. It is a true evolution for the critically and commercially successful GTA series, not just a “next-gen” polish job of the same old game. But maybe even more importantly, it’s a new high water mark for video-game storytelling in general. This may sound like hyperbole, but it is deserved: GTA IV signals a moment in video-game history where it can no longer be denied that the medium can be as significant of an entertainment vehicle as the best that movies or television have to offer. GTA IV is sublime.

This is a very fun game but it doesn't offer anything new. If you have previous GTA games, than you pretty much know what you're gonna get from this game.... but still very fun. Lots and lots of "swearing".... very violent.

GTA is an amazing series of games. This particular GTA was entertaining and extremly realistic. I loved playing the story mood as well as I liked playing on Xbox Live. Unfortunatly the story mood was a tad bit easy and didn't fully challenge me. But overall 4 star game. Buy and Enjoy!

I purchased this game for my son and he had been anxiously awaiting its release. According to him, it highly surpasses all the other GTA games! I purchased it 3 days ago when it was released and he has spent every available minute playing it. The graphics on this game are awesome!

its a great game i was the 3rd person to buy it on tuesday and i love it the onley thing is it is still in liberty city it is better and more in porved than before and verry realistic from driveing to gass prices lol i wish the continued from sanandres but all in all great game
