Really a great game, the graphics are great, really feels like a real city. The online play is pretty sweet too, with lots of different options for you and your friends. The specifics of AI and how people react to the enviornment aroudn you is also sweet, overall a great game.

i was afraid this game would be over-hyped for me because of all the perfect reviews it was getting from big names, such as ign; first 10/10 since 1999.but once i got it, it surpassed the hype, the game is so much fun just to explore and watch the city breathe. my friends watching would stop and laugh, some even thought it was a movie. two of my friends who never liked the gta games went out and bought it later that day. the newest addition to the gta series is online multiplayer with different modes such as mafia, cops n robbers, deathmatch and races which encompass the entire city. you can roam anywhere and do anything with 15 of ur friends, it's like i always dreamed. gta went with a realistic style and still mixed in that goofy just fun to play game as they always do, not even to mention hd quality graphics, a new cover system for combat, best soundtrack money can buy, and voice acting that could win Oscars. highly recomended

From the raunchy beginning scene to the satisfying ending, Grand Theft Auto 4 was quite the epic game. This new installment including many new things from its predecessors and took a substantial turn into a more realistic world. And with more realism came the somewhat gory violence and the very annoying prospect that for some reason, Niko, (the main character) can not buckle his seat belt. Hurtling down the highway with a five star wanted level and helicopters and tons of police on your tail, and this fun speed rush is ended once you swerve to miss a car on the other lane and send yourself into a wall. For not wearing a seat belt, Niko flies through the windshield and head first into the hard cement wall. And by this time, the cops have surrounded you and the chase is done. But aside from the fact that this annoying loccurence happens, Grand Theft Auto 4 was a very enjoyable game and is one of the best of the year so far.

This is the best game this year. Sell COD4 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and get this now. 16 player free roam wow does life get any better. This game will destroy halo 3 in issues sold. if u dont get this ur missin out. Most realistic game u can buy, love the violence amazing.

This game is amazing! It is defently worth the 60 dollars. The graphics are awesome! The driving takes some time getting use to but its easy once you get it down. Muiltplayer is alot of fun, you have 16 moods you can play including free roam with friends on the internet.

Out of all the GTA games, I believe this one is the best. Why? It has a great storyline, the graphics are amazing, and the characters are extremely well developed. There's nothing about this game that someone could find "boring". Overall, this is a game worth buying.

Best in the series. The online play is really fun. Not the best online play (try Call of Duty World at War for that) but really fun. The regular gameplay is fun but gets boring and tedious (atleast for me, but they all do eventually). Graphics and sound are great.

this is a good game if you liked the other three. its very much like the others with better graphics and more in depth missions. can be easy riding game or a tough shoot um up violent mission based but fun game. to sum up, get this game if you liked the other three.

i bought every GTA game there is for ps ..xbox.. and now xbox360.. i got everyone of tha been out and i watch there graphics and abilitys grow on this game and everytime it gets better ... i seen it get cycles to boats to racing helicopters now online..!! it crazy there online game play will not be i see u shoot shoot .. it gonna be duck and hide plane races and ur supposed to get all free roaming abilitys to every location online to and tha takes alot of work.. tha why it took them so long to develope this game .. it gonna be the best out there u get tons of side missions .. very nice rides in this one .. more open areas with better graphics.. u get races and everything .. if u like games with a storyline plus fun side missions plus loads of free roaming.. this is def the game u just HAVE TO BUY!! BUY!! BUY!! BUY!1 if u dont get it now ur missing out big time .. get it before it to late!!

I never played the others very thoroughly but this one is a knockout. I really enjoy the free play where you can do whatever and whenever. I know its the mafia, but all the language is very unnecessary(It makes it awkward to play around kids, parents etc).

With the many things you can do in the game and also the hours you can spend playing multiplayer it is worth picking up. The gameplay is so much better than its previous series. I recommend picking up this game to anyone who likes free roam games.

I have played all of the GTA games and have loved them all. This game takes the cake though. You can do just about anything just like the other games, but this ads a whole lot more. The graphics are outstanding and the audio in conjunction with surround sound makes you feel like you are actually in the game. The only down fall I see is that it is a little hard to master the controls when driving. You have a tendency to go out of control a lot. I have only play a little bit though, so this will more likely improve as I get more skilled at the game. It is nice to take a break from the first person shooter realm for a while, and with all the things you can do in this game, you will be taken a long break from FPS with this. Go out an buy it. If you do not like it, I am sure there are plenty of people out there that would die to buy it off og you.

its pretty fun, but gets boring quick,and hard to kill someone i had to shoot them 5 times to kill them with shotgun,its fun flying the helicopter,the graphics are great,cool cars

This is the first Grand Theft Auto game I have actually ever owned (Besides GTA2). I have played all of them, and I really liked them, but never bought them. The game is great. This is exactly what I needed. I hadn't played a game with a story in a while, and this game just sucks you right in. Although, occasionaly the people are hard to understand with their accents (ESPECIALLY Little Jacob, the Rasta guy) So I turned on subtitles, and it helps alot. Except the subtitles are in ebonics, too. In the 14+ hours I have played it in the last 4 days, I've only been online twice. The story is so great. I thought I had finished the story, and I look at my Career Completion, and I'm only ar 20%! This is a long game, apparently! Defiantely buy this one, you will not be dissapointed, whether you have Xbox LIVE or not.

The game is insane. The storyline is entertaining and was very hard to stop even long enough to go on a cop killing spree. Explosions and crash graphics are sweet. I just wish it didnt come out right before finals.

easily the best gta game created. one player is absolutely phenomenal and the multiplayer is very fun. missions are new and exciting and you dont get bored quickly like you would in previous gta's. its a must buy.

In my opinion, Grand Theft Auto 4 for the Xbox 360 is the best video game to be released for any console in 2008. The graphics are extremely realistic, the cover and targeting systems are very helpful, the multiplayer gameplay on Xbox Live is lots of fun, and in general, the whole game is great - except for one thing: it takes a long time for different things to load. For example, when you first turn on your console, you have to watch a 1-2 minute video of different drawings of characters in the game, and then you have to wait another 1-2 minutes for the actual game to load! This gets very annoying after a while. But, everything else makes us for this, and that's why GTA 4 is the best video game for any console to be released in 2008.

grand theft auto 4 is the best game to ever come out. like, the #1 game ever created. even gametrailers gives it a 9.8 out of 10, and thats the closest to 10 its ever given. this is the best game for teens, but kids should not even get this. there are some teenage content. but other than that, its awesome! driving is really fun, and so are the minigames like darts, bowling, and pool. there are so much stuff to do in the whole game, and ther's even multiplayer. its great, but not the best multiplayer i've seen. but they're really fun and a great weay to continue the game. this gamer would go good for either ps3 or xbox 360, itdoesn't matter. but if you have a sytem and youer older than 16, then you HAVE to get this game.

This is the best GTA made yet and there is sooooooo much to do. The graphics are great and the controls are superb. Yet it still can get a little repititive. Other than that this game is a great buy.

Graphics and gore are amazing and fun, thats where it stops, the fighting style is not fun, driving is not fun ( I just take a taxi every where) Although I do love the fact you can fly through the wind shield. The worst part about this game a the missions...They are so unoriginal and remind me of every other GTA game I have played it takes a way from the game. Seriously...get up on a building and snipe while people come to attack? Sounds like Vice city all over...San Andreas was way better a game and I would rather play that then GTA 4 to be honest.
