I'm a big fan of the GTA series but i felt it was getting a little stale. GTA V brings a refreshing new feel to the series with a lot of new interesting mechanics as well as expanding on existing features to make the game more grand and exciting. Perhaps the best GTA to date.

I preordered last November. So far everything about GTA V has been worth the wait. I'm not much at creative writing, so all I can say is if you liked GTA4 you should love 5. Everything great about the last is even better in this one. I would recommend to anyone, gamer or not.

I bought this on midnight release day and its been in my PlayStation since. I just beat the game and I can say that it is a great in depth story that takes you through the three main characters. Heists are simple enough to accomplish with the right crew but challenging enough to want to replay more and more to gain the most amount of money. The driving on the game still seems a bit of challenge but it's fun to go full speed and evade the police. I did notice some scenery glitches the other day as driving but it was quick to correct itself and make the game enjoyable again. Each character has their own special ability that becomes useful in certain situations and you learn when and how to use them in order to take down cops, FIB agents, or evade capture from the police or gangsters. This is the best GTA yet with so much to do and so many ways to play the game. Pay attention to cut scenes, they will help you gain money on the stock market!

There are plenty of reviews for GTA V but I want to mention one thing that I observed after playing it for the first couple of hours. From the start of the game, I noticed that the game makes it perfectly clear that the main characters that you play as are not going to be heroes. In fact, it goes out of its way to show that they are not very good men. I find this fascinating because this is the first that I've ever played a game where I was playing characters who will not become good guys later or do something heroic. It's refreshing to see that a video game can show the darker side of humanity without having to glorify or justify their actions. They simply are criminals. This game is definitely NOT for kids not because of the violence or destructive things you can do in this game. It is all the deeper social commentary underneath that only adults can process and understand. Parents should treat this game like any HBO or Showtime series.

GTA 5 is by far the best in the series. It builds on everything you loved from the original GTA games and turns them into an empire. This game hits on so many levels. From the West Coast Dr. Dre and Snoop classic soundtracks to the Bugatti Veyrons. This game is a must have.

This game is so beyond ridiculously good it's not even funny. There's so much to do and see. I've already put 30 hours into it and am only around 35% complete. Amazing that it's on current gen hardware! Definitely not for kids though.... Can't wait for GTA online to launch!!

What a great game! Rockstar did not disappoint with this latest installment of GTA. Graphics, gameplay, soundtrack, and overall gaming experience are all top notch! Looking forward to some expansion packs I hope!

The new gta is as good as advertised. Its fun to play even if your not in the middle of a mission. While the online content has yet to be revealed, I'm excited to see what the experience will be. I wouldn't say its a child suitable game, but the title should give that away.

I was on the fence before the game came out because I really didn't care for the Ballad of Gay Tony that came out after GTA4. I bought it the day it came out and I was surprised at how awesome it is. If you don't have it buy it. Worth every penny, might have even paid more.

Must buy. Very addictive. Endless options. There is so many things to do in addition to the story. There sre random events and heists. It is so much better than any of their previous games including vice city. There are multiple references to people from past games as well.

This will likely be my last purchase before next gen.. and what a great game to cap it off! For anyone who has played a GTA game in the past and liked it, you won't be disappointed with this purchase. Great game!

Bought video games for my brother in law as a Christmas gift and they loved them

GTA did it again, great game for hours of entertainment! I highly recommend against allowing kids to play this game. I have gamed since I was a kid and I am amazed the "parents" allow kids to play this game. Great game for the older gamer or kids with no parental guidance.

My son especially enjoys playing this game with his friend. The action is good, as is the storyline, which offers more than in previous editions. You can play around doing silly things with characters, too, just for fun, like jumping on cars. Has a realistic feel to it.

I would recommend this game to anyone of the age and maturity to play it. It has a great modern west coast vibe and country perspective. In between those two settings, there are many activities that the player can go through. Time will show how good multiplayer in a week.

Easily the most immersive interactive experience available. The gameplay is instantly gratifying and equally as deep. The performances, characters and plot all rival current cinema. Despite being in 720p the game looks beautiful. Only trouble is it is extremely addicting.

All I can say, as a complete game, GTA V is the greatest title of all time to ever release on PS3. Gameplay, graphics, everything is awesome within this game. And Online hasn't even released yet. Just wait until October 1st! If you're a GTA fan, this game is a must have.

Waited a long time for the release of GTA V, I think it well worth the wait. The graphics are great! It's really cool how you can customize the cars, great feature! I'm just a casual gamer and haven't played GTA in a long time. Definitely not appropriate for young kids.

Grand theft auto five is the best by far so far I love this game hours of fun tons of missions missions inside of missions greatest game out there in my opinion right now. If you are a fan of the series you will love this game I recommend you buy it as soon as you can.

The world you can explore is huge. Lots of entertainment value for the dollar.
