Rockstar does it again and makes our beloved GTA series even bigger and better than before. Honestly, you have to play the game for yourself as there is so many things the game has to offer, not to mention that the online element is much better than the previous installment. Just go and play it!

The driving/flying/riding/boating is by far the best part for me. I haven't gotten into simulator games very much yet but I'd say GTA V is a great introduction to them.

I have never seen a grand theft auto game before this. Although it is really cool, it is NOT for those under 17.....

Last year I bought this for the Xbox 360. The PS4 version was worth making the extra purchase. Graphics are amazing.

Gta V is a living breathing world with an amazing narrative for the mature only. This game is vulgar and full of comedy that its hard to not like the characters that live in it. GTA online is another plus. playing with your friends and wreaking havoc on others is nothing short of satisfaction.

Love this game. SO much better than part 4. Next gen version makes me wonder why I even bothered playing on PS3/360

Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the few games that I have purchased long after its release date that still has an active community. Many games either have a solid single player mode or become useless after the first year or two. While the single player mode is solid, it is the multiplayer that makes this game truly entertaining. There are more than enough different modes and activities to make this game fun for players of almost any genre. The one pitfall is how significant microtransactions are to the game. You will receive a small in-game cash bonus with the game purchase and have the chance to obtain funds through various activities, but the cost to reward ratio is noticeable. You can easily spot long-time and paid players by their cars. For a new player, obtaining similar items seems like an impossible task. To promote purchases, only certain vehicles can be obtained by finding them. Many require that you purchase them with in-game currency only. Apartments and most weapons must also be purchased. This can make the game appear overly pay-to-win, as the cost is often absurd. Unlike other PvP games that provide the possibility of trolling, such as The Division, this game offers a rather creative method to disable being attacked by online players. By entering passive mode, you sacrifice access to weapons in exchange for other players being unable to harm you. To avoid the possibility of exploiting this option, there is also a timer for toggling this feature on or off. The game has a companion mobile app that is rather poorly designed, but provides a few added options for handling vehicles. This would have been a much bigger feature if the app did not look like a webpage that forces you to use an otherwise unnecessary app. The game itself offers lots to do and the story is immersive. It was well worth the purchase at the current price, since I have no plans to make further investment. I am skeptical about how long the game will remain relevant, but the community seems to keep it alive.
