When I first got it I sat down to play for an hour, five hours later I was still playing and hadn't sniffed 1% of the map. There are a lot of improvements over IV and the multiple characters means you won't get bored you can just switch people. I recommend giving it a try if you are one of the rare few it seems haven't bought it already.

Very well put together revamped game, love the better driving but still needs work, i like that you can be different characters and the storyline and missions are amazing

This is what we've come to expect from Rockstar, a top notch game that so far has really delivered everything I wanted and more. The voice acting in this game is some of the best I've heard. The plot keeps you engaged from the first minute and progresses quickly but allows for you to break away to do your own thing at your convenience. The only real downside so far is there's a bit of a steep learning curve with the complex controls. It's been awhile since I've played GTA so I'm having to relearn a lot, and the tutorials are short and often appear as a subtle text during a fast paced shoot out and I've noticed many times I've missed the instructions before they disappear from the screen. All in all a very fun game that looks like it will keep me entertained for many hours to come. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a MATURE game, there is a LOT of profanity and racial slurs, and don't forget about the strip clubs, drug references, and tons of violence. This isn't a game I would play if young children were around and definitely not recommended for children to play. But hey, this is GTA after all, It's exactly what you would expect to get from this kind of game.

This game easily lives up to all of the hype. The depth of this game coupled with the sound and options are truly remarkable. The biggest improvement to me is the driving is outstanding and much more fun than previous versions. The character dialogue and missions along with personalized options make this game a 10/10 in my eyes. Only downfall is that the game does take quite a bit of time to play and that might not go over well with my significant other. I'd recommend this game to any gamer even if they are casual gamers. The game was soo good that this was the first ever review I've done for BB or any game.

This is the best GTA yet A must buy for any fan. Driving and gun play has been overhauled for the better. Great story and characters. You will not regret this purchase.

Very awesome game! story line is great and game play is just amazing!There are so many things you can do in this game that it will keep you entertained for a long time.

I am not a big gamer, but the one series that will get me to pre-order every time is GTA. This newest entry outdoes the others in every single way. It's incredibly fun to play and the map is so varied that I can't imagine I'd ever get bored. Since I'm not a gamer, one thing I loved about GTA IV was the ease of inputting cheat codes. Just a simple phone number and the cheats saved on the cell phone. This new edition doesn't allow for that and the codes are iffy and difficult to enter. I know that won't matter to most gamers, but for those of us that just want to play in the sandbox, it's a bit of a letdown.

This is one amazing game. Great graphics, great story, tons to do, lots of mini games. The only warning is this game is very crude and defiantly not for young gamers.

What can you say about a franchise game that we have waited years for? They certainly didn't disappoint. Great graphics and expansive maps. Definitely worth the wait!

GTA is the only game I still play. I've been a gamer since 1986 and thought I'd never stop gaming. Unfortunately, free time as an adult is so scarce, I usually choose to relax on these rare occasions. I'm finding every opportunity to play GTA V. This game is more than enough to satisfy the adult gamer in me. It's definitely not for kids but extremely entertaining for an adult. Action, humor, and some nasty if you go looking for it. I'll probably switch exclusively to Online once it drops so I'm really trying to complete a big chunk of storymode. Rockstar is the #1 game company imo. 10/10 for GTA V!

In a word, incredible. I have owned each GTA game since their inception so I was eagerly awaiting the new version. However, I saw the teaser when it was released last year and write this on off as a retread and cash grab by Rockstar. Boy was I wrong! They took the best elements of the last ones (open world format, nearly unlimited interaction, challenging but entertaining story mode, vehicles, etc) and multiplied them. The world is ENORMOUS and everything got better, including missions that are direct ripoffs of some of the best action scenes ever put on film. Don't read another review - go get it!

There's a reason why this game is so popular... it is amazing. Rockstar really stepped it up in making this game. So many things to do and explore. Buy this game.

This is by far the best game I have ever played! The best gta game ever made. Game play is great, driving is great, shooting is great. Can't wait for online play!

Excellent game, awesome story mode from beginning to end. Allows you more freedom to select which character to complete certain missions depending on their special abilities. This game also allows for a bigger variety of cars, bikes, boats, helicopter, planes. It gives the gamer the freedom to pick which ever they like best. The story mode covers all different types of mission, from assassinations, gun smuggling, drug deals, gang wars, bank Robbery, jewelry store robberies, car theft, saving family members, etc. I would recommend this game to any player that has played previous GTA games.

Exciting game with awesome graphics and huge map compared to last one . Also very funny dialogue and commentary . Much more places to travel and cars to crash .

The graphics look fantastic, gameplay is fun and the storyline does not drag like IV. A lot easier to drive than the previous game, an overall great experience.

Great story to go along with superb graphics at the end of this console cycle. My expectations were high and were not only met but exceeded them in every sense.

The game was outstanding. Excellent graphics mixed with powerful story aspects and controls, it is a remarkable continuation to thee Grand Theft Auto series.

Game was great, much better than the last one. The amount of things to do in the game is endless, and the story is excellent the game plays out like a movie.
