As I wrote in the summary, an absolutely great game. The story is great, the gameplay is fun, and the writing/satire in it is phenomenal. Only complaint I have is that when it comes to playing the game online, sometimes it works like its suppose to and other times it just does not want to cooperate. But that isn't something that should stop someone from getting this game.

Rockstar once again has raised the bar on gameplay and storyline with even more options, multiple stories that tie together, and what sounds like will be incredible online multiplayer when it comes out. The only thing is that the language this time around is incredibly excessive, even for GTA. They really could've done with less N's and F's. As always, keep the kids away.

GTA V is a good game, but not much of a keeper. Going to keep it simple: Pros: - Really great story, with some very interesting characters. - Plenty of things to spend money you earn on - Online mode offers features to help continue on, and has a fun multi-player experience (when it works). Cons: - the biggest and really only big draw back is for such a huge map, there is NOTHING to do. The game offers NO on going activities, or anything interesting or meaningful to keep you entertained in story mode. - it should go without saying, but this game is NOT for kids. The game has tons of nudity, violence, and pretty much everything you do not want to expose a child too.

This was way better than Liberty City, that game sucked. Everything about this game was fun, just don't play in front of the kids.

Grand Theft Auto is everything it was cracked up to be! Great graphics, lots of twists and turns and room for creativity, offers lots of different ways to play. Really engrossing, not as violent as I had thought it would be. Really happy that all my friends are playing and we can play together. Best Buy had it the first day it was available. My favorite video game!

This game has been reviewed everywhere and well it's just awesome. It's very over the top and a great game that's really fun to play!

I bought my Xbox for three different games and this gta is the best yet. Los santos is an awesome city and the graphics kick butt!!!

The game is fun to play and the graphics look great for the GTA series. In the time I've played I have witnessed a few frame drops but nothing excessive. However realistic the game is supposed to be, the use of foul-language in the story is over the top. Definitely do not play with small-children within ear-shot. Besides the two small issues, the game is great.

After many hours in various GTA titles and Red Dead Redemption, I was excited to see the best elements from these games included in the newest offering from Rockstar. The combat and vehicle controls will be very familiar to most gamers, but the gem of the game is the storyline. The ability to control 3 different characters who's stories are intertwined works very well in this execution, allowing the player to switch between each character instantly (very useful when your boat explodes after ramping it off rocks in the middle of the ocean...). The campaign, talk radio, and map itself are fantastically funny commentaries on the culture of Hollywood and Los Angeles in general. The scenery in the game is quite good and the underwater areas are done very well. Massive landscape textures lead to an issue found in most Rockstar games - the load times are pretty long despite the 8GB install on your hard drive or a properly formatted USB thumb drive. Rendering is obvious but never seriously affected gameplay frame rates. These few issues will be fixed when/if a PC version is released and can adequately take advantage of newer GPUs. Overall, an extremely fun game that has earned its place in a very storied series that I recommend to anyone (above 18 years old).

For this as a gift for my sister and in her words its Totally Awesome! States its got a great and long story line for hours of play.

Excellent game with some nice realism. There is cursing and some suspect innuendo, but the game is fun and graphics are excellent.

There is way to many words to sum up how incredible this game is. From the insanely detailed world and size of this game to the action packed stunning storyline. This game is a must buy and with the new multiplayer style it has an endless amount of replay value and hours. I would have paid even more than $60 for it easily. Best game ive purchased in years.

Have enjoyed this game so much, I purchased it again after the disc got an repairable scratch. Full of adult mayhem and mischief.

My son has ps4 and plays game on that system but he wanted Xbox for Christmas so I knew he would also like this game too play

Storyline is excellent, gameplay is more fluid than ever, and there is seriously a ridiculous amount of content and stuff to do. I also really love the 3-character dynamic that Rockstar is trying with this game, it really gives the player an interesting perspective (or three) on what is happening in the game. Super awesome game, I highly recommend it.

The first console game I bought in a long time and well worth the wait. Bottom line: this is a fun game. The graphics are awesome and so is the auto aim system. The story line so far is very interesting and intriguing. I think the cars and the grafics when driving are fantastic. It really is as good as pretty much everyone I know has said about it.

One of the greatest games I have ever played. The weapon system and driving has greatly improved since GTA IV. The map is gigantic and full of scripted and unscripted things to do. The character switching system give the game a lot of variety, with each character being unique and fun to play. GTA Online is coming out in Oct. and it looks fantastic.

So it was a cold Monday night, but my heart was warm as I stood anxiously outside of best buy waiting for my copy of this game at midnight. Once I obtained my game and returned home as quickly as possible I popped this bad boy in. Kind of sucked that you had to install the game first, but it gave me some time to grab some snacks and beer. Besides, everything good in life takes time right? Which is an understatement about this game, this game is not good,it's a lifestyle. I have played 5+ hours everyday since I got it and have lost my job, friends, and my family despising me in the process, but it's all good because I am the happiest I've been in my whole life because of this game. I'm normally not a huge gamer, but I am in love with this game, I can not put it down. I was one of the many individuals that were upset about the release date being pushes back, but once I saw the official game play trailer I knew it was worth the wait. I don't have time to explain all the capabilities of the game because the possibilities in the world of Los Santos is literally endless. So go and get yourself a copy! Now! You will not regret a single penny of it! I'm going to head on back to my game myself. Later skaters.
