This CD, although delivering Gladys's greatest hits as it promises, scans too many generations to be a CD you will be glad to own. If you were born in the 40's you may enjoy it more than a person born in the mid/late 50's because most of her hits (apparently) were from the "A Teenager in Love" early rock n roll era; most of the music in the song list is from that time leading to little variety. Songs that feature Gladys' extraordinarily passionate and complex singing voice, such as "Leaving on a Midnight Train for Georgia" and "Neither One of Us" (late 60s/early 70's) are the only songs on the CD I am glad to own. The CD left me wondering if there is an alternate CD that offers a later collection (70's) of her songs.
