Disappointing...Because of the CD Itself

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a handful of music CDs from one of Best Buy's bargain bins. I might as well have lit a match to my money. To be clear, the CDs work just fine. However, I hadn't bought a CD in many years and didn't realize that the industry had imposed formatting requirements that effectively made them useless to me. I will not sit down and load/listen/swap CDs. My intent was to copy the files to my computer and phone as I did with all my older CDs. Unfortunately, the formatting on all of the CDs I bought more recently precludes this making them useless to me. There's no question that CDs are dying but the industry itself is playing a major role in killing them.
