I didn't need anything fancy and because of where my jack is in my car I assumed I didn't need anything that seemed really long. To me this cord seemed "long"...that was until I got it into my car! Now I wish I had a few more feet of cord sometimes! However, the cord is great, serves its purpose and cost me $5 so I can't complain!
