This is a great quality cable. I can see how the flat would be useful in some applications but for what I needed it for it was actually rather wide.

Not the best ever quality cable, but it gets the job done. Also, having it flat's a definite advantage. Pretty good as far as signal loss goes.

Good product and durable. Has flexible cord so it does not short out like most AUX cords. I've only had it for a month and a half so we will see how it goes.
