I mean, it's good, but...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so I bought this product back in May of 2012, I believe, and it worked well. It had great sound quality and all of my songs played excellently. However, as of late, I noticed that one end of the cord, once inserted, would play well until slightly nudged and then it would only play out of the right stereo until adjusted. Now, this isn't too much of a problem to fix unless one is driving (I own a dodge Journey '10 model and when I shift the gears (reverse, park, etc), unless the correct end is in, the song will not play in the left stereo unless I sort of twist the end in my phone) and needs to change songs, park, etc. Also, the cord is too short to stretch to the back seat which isn't too much of a problem for me, but it would have been nice for it to. If it is stretched around there, it plugs out of the hole. I would still recommend this aux cord to others because this problem is easily fixed for me by rotating the ends, as it plays flawlessly in the hole of the radio when the ends are turned. In any case, I'm keeping this cord, but the fact that this problem has arisen is cause for concern and a part of me anticipates future problems with perhaps, the other end, but until then, I'll still like this cord. :D

Don’t buy unless you must
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return this twice for issues like static. If your phone has a case you may have to use a special adapter

Decent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Griffin Aux cord works with many different devices. It's really sturdy and hasn't shown any wear in it for the past 3 months of use. The main problem with it is that the audio crackles a little bit depending on what song you are listening to. The large plug ends can also possibly not fit in a device you are trying to connect it to. Also the coiled cord can be a pain when it gets tangled up with other wires.

Great cord for inside your vehicle
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A 6-foot MP3 cord that features a spiral tension that reduces it to about 2-feet. The sound quality is great, even when playing from my iPhone, I get great stereo phonics. I use this in my truck, and I think it's the perfect length to reach into the nearby storage compartment (cupholder) without the cord flopping around. It comfortably reaches both the driver and passengers side, again without too much slack. OK, enough about the length. I was a bit concerned that the wide plastic moldings around the metal tip would not fit flush onto my iPhone jack with the rubberized case on. I hate having to remove my case whenever I want to hook it to a cord. I was pleasently surprised when it did fit, but not entirely flush. That is the only reason for not giving it 5-stars. Had the molding been more narrower, it would be nearly perfect. Regardless, the fit was still secure and is a very minor issue and I cant overstate that. If you dont use a case, or dont mind removing it, the cord is great. I recommend this product, and will buy another for the wifes car.

Job well done!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I didn't give it a 5/5 is because I wish it was a little longer. I had the Belkin Retractable Auxiliary Cable and although it broke very quickly because of how thin the wire was, it was plenty long enough. I definitely recommend this one over any other because it's very well made for for what I paid for it ($9.99) and even though it's a little shorter than I prefer, it's a high-quality Aux cable.

Worth the Money!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this at a local BestBuy store, debating if I really wanted to buy it. It was only $15 and I figured why not. Best Aux cord that you can get! Fits any phone with any case on it and isn't super long!

Durable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.End caps eliminate the wear and tear that usually cause audio noise issues. So far the best aux audio cable I have purchased and I have bought 5-6 different brands.

"Best Buy" for $10
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This aux. cable works great for me. I mostly use it for my car stereo to my Zune, but I have also used it to connect my laptop to a speaker dock. I love that the cord coils so that you don't have excess cable laying around every where, and it stretches to a decent length for when you need it. The quality is as good as I've ever had, the sound is crisp and clear. the cord itself still looks new even though I have had it for about 4 months.

Works ok, depending on iPhone model / case
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used this Griffin model aux cable successfully in the past (when I had an iPhone 3G), but this particular cable does not seem to make full contact with my new iPhone 4 input with the "incase" hard case I am using. I noticed the music cutting in and out due to the poor connection, as well as a lot of high-pitched background static when accelerating in the car. If you are using an iPhone 4 with a hard case, I HIGHLY recommend the Monster iCable 800! The cable is 7ft long, appears to be very durable, and the sound is crisp with NO background static at all. I am a loyal Best Buy customer, but I did have to find this particular cable at a different retailer.

Buy this!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a dash-mounted jack, get this cable!!! The audio is (dare I say it?) perfect! Of course, with this cable being tension-looped, it is not ideal if your jack is in the back seat or in the console, but the reason I bought this one is so that I don't have cable laying all over the car! You can't go wrong with this!

Price $15 = Good sound, quality and ease of use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a big BEST BUY shopper, like the stores and staff. I bought this AUX cord on sale for $12 to $15 + tax . Its pretty good. I bought one before I purchased at a $1 store it was horrible cheap static noise when my music was playing. Not with this GRIFFIN AUX cord. It is very clear and the retractable coiling cord is a nice benefit/feature and gives a clear sound. You get what you pay for !-)

One nagging quirk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the design of this audio cable. I use it in my car AUX port to play my and my daughter's MP3 players. It's nice that it's long enough for her to push the buttons on her player from the back seat, and when I need it up front the cables coil up and aren't in the way. The only nagging thing I don't like is the thickness of the base for the port is too big for me to use on my MP3 player with the protective case on. I need to take the case off to play it in the car, then put it back on when I go walking. Not a huge deal, not a deal breaker, just a nagging quirk that my previous cable didn't have.
