    The old cover for my iPad fell (completely) apart after several years of good service. This item caught my eye because it bore a strong resemblance to the Otter Box I have on my iPhone. The performance has been similar as well. The screen cover is a plus over the original Apple cover, and the sturdy design makes me comfortable that my iPad is well protected.
