Great collection of songs, James Gunn is a master of choosing songs to go with the mood and feeling of his films. Even if you didn't like the movie the soundtrack is highly recommended

This cd is every bit as good as the film. And somehow I didn't already have all these super sounds o the 70s in my collection already. Can't wait for the sequel to see what is on awesome mix vol 2.

Sometimes what makes a great movie even greater is the soundtrack that goes along with it and fits every moment spectacularly. Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the most perfect examples of this.

This is a great collection following up a great movie. What more can I say? You get so many of the guilty pleasure songs of the 70's all in one package. I crank this CD up in my car all the time.

The soundtrack is filled with classic music from various artists that cover a wide array of genres of music but mostly just kitschy feel good music from the 70's. I love it!

Either you like the music from this era or you don't -if you do, you're going to love this CD. All the songs are party songs and bring back a lot of good memories from the 70's. Great CD!

i know no one buys cds anymore, but that is how badly i wanted the music. it's great to have in the background and or keep you motivated doing chores around the house

I loved the movie and thought the music was great too. I'm a little biased that way, but even someone who is not specifically a fan of classic rock music will probably like this soundtrack. The are some songs that you have probably heard many times before, but just didn't know the name or the artist, so wonder no more!

This is a great throwback to past soundtracks. Great songs that, when you see the movie, really help to frame the action and mood. See the movie, listen to the soundtrack!

Love this soundtrack, brings back tons of memories. For the younger generation, good way to hear instrumentation and not just techno music.

This is overall a great soundtrack featuring lots of classics that were in the film. It's all upbeat relaxing music that will take you back to Starlords adventure.

This was a Christmas present for a huge Guardians of the Galaxy fan. She was super excited. Even for fans of some of the more classic rock would like this CD!

i watched it dvd of this movie again before i saw the new movie and i discovered how much i enjoyed the songs again it's a must have cd

The music used in this awesome film was, essentially, another character! Rarely has a soundtrack been used in a film so effectively, so intertwined in the action, as this one. And by purchasing this, you get to relive many great moments from the movie. This is a MUST-have item for fans of "The Guardians".

I purchased the CD's for my son who was being stationed out of state and had his first car. He wanted CDs for his ride. The music rocks
