I got 2 unit of it. So far I have no issues working great since 3 months

Setting up was not easy since there were very little instruction that came with it. I kept getting lost connection even when I had my router right next to the device. My phone couldn't find my device after it was installed. It kept saying searching for device and then it would timeout cause it wouldn't find anything.

First of all, the claim to a "5 minute" set up is false. It took me 3 hours just to get the image to appear on my iPhone I had to update the IOS to 8.1.3 and it still didn't work properly. Set-up strayed away from actual instructions, which I won't go into detail here. Never got the option to monitor the sound or talk through the camera remotely. I set the system to send me push messages, text alerts, and email when motion is detected, but it never worked. And I wasn't able to monitor the camera from "Anywhere" as the company claimed - Only from inside my home. The Wi-Fi pairing was a little strange. I had to manually set my iPhone/iPad to detect the camera's Wi-Fi each and every time I wanted to view the system, then change it back to the home's Wi-Fi to get internet again. Once I would leave the house, I never got a camera view- I GOT NOTHING! When I did get a picture, which was only inside my home, the date showed "2015-7-7" and the time was off by 30 minutes. There is no way to set the date and time. A call into tech support yielded little results. I was on hold for 15 minutes and after explaining all the problems, the tech couldn't give me an answer about anything. He said it worked flawlessly on his "Wife's iPhone 6" and I needed at least the IOS 6.x.x, which I had 8.1.3. Soooo...he finally recommended that I take it back to Best Buy because the only thing he could think of was a hardware problem, and claim it as a defective product. Then he told me to call them for assistance in setting it up. I ended up taking it back. I then purchased a Samsung Smartcam. What a difference in product. This device essentially took 5 minutes to set up. It does so much more and it's FULL HD Quality, something that Guardzilla can't offer with their device. Take my advice. Spend the extra money and buy something that works!

Setup was not bad and it works well. You need wifi though.

I have had various Wireless cams and this is the best one yet. Very, very easy to setup. Plug and Play, all you need is your Wifi password and your are good to go. It can be also used as Motion Detection Alarm System, with a sounding alarm. YES - Definitely Recommend.

The camera's frame rate is too slow. When its armed I can walk into the house walk by the camera and it doesn't even detect. When it does detect motion and triggers the camera, it snaps a pic and then snaps a second pic, by the time it gets to the third frame - I'm out of frame. So unless someone walks by the camera several times, you're probably not going to get many frames capturing much. It has push notifications when motion is detected and the alarm has been tripped. When I get a notification on my phone and check the activity log, there will be nothing there so you can't review to see why it has tripped. It makes a fine budget webcam, but there are more cons then pros.

It's very easy to set up and works for of my need.

purchased the guardzilla cameras (5 total) for our used appliance store after a break in. we chose guardzilla for the low cost and ease of setting up the system. e looked into other systems and it would have cost almost qadruple what we paid. looking forward to the launch of the outdoor camera this summer

Guardzilla's discrete design makes it easy to hide and blend in. The app controls all functions and works well in that regard. Some settings can go back to default, so I do need to check sometimes to make sure they are still OK. Picture quality is good, though it depends partly on the strength of your wi-fi. Installation is super easy. You can buy cloud storage of your recording, or you can use a micro-SD card to record on your own. There's also a free two-day recording option, but the drawback is that it records motion events in only 5-second clips. It has one feature I haven't seen in other video cameras: an alarm you can activate remotely. Customer service/support was superb. My emails were answered promptly and they even checked back with me when I let a couple of days go without continuing the troubleshooting case.

I have the camera for a family member to keep check on them while I'm not there and I love it. The only thing missing for me no recording feature for a long period of time.

Reviews were good, looked good, but did not live up to expectations. Downloaded the app quite easily. Tried setting up with Android as well as IPhone and both times, the app did not recognize the camera. Tech support on phone was helpful and courteous, but admitted they didn't know what to do and would get someone to call me back. Think I'll go and return the product tomorrow.

Has many good features. Going to buy another one soon

I liked the idea of saving video to a sd card however you can not play back the video without removing the card first. And then you will find out the VGA video quality is so poor you can not make out anything on the movie. Spend a little more and get a Dropcam and you will not believe how clear a simple camera can be. Wider view, zoom in ability and excellent motion detection on the Drop cam but none of which is on this camera. I took it back the next day.

Easy to use, great protection and a great product.

Guardzilla was easy to set up and I can check my app whenever I want, from wherever I am. I can make sure my son is doing homework when I am not home, and I can see when my in-laws "stop by" when I am out of town! I love this camera!

Easy to install and view BUT the quality is so poor that you can not tell who a person is unless you know them well. Night video is even worse! If you get withing a couple of feet of the camera, the video improves slightly. So if you are only needing something to monitor someone you know, might be what you want. If you looking for proof to identify a thief, spend more money and buy a higher quality camera

It was ok. I bought it for use in a baby room. The app seemed clunky and the video quality was not as expected from such a quality name. Maybe I got a defective unit
