i own GH:5 and it doesn't compare to GH:3. GH:3 has alot more metal songs and there challenging to beat. overallits a great game if you like metal

This was the first guitar hero I played. This one was so fun I decided to try the others. Number 3 is by far the best one and most entertaining.

Good tracks, good play, only downfall is difficulty of achievements, but i guess that makes them way more rewarding like a true achieveement

This is the best game ever created I play it all the time. It is definitely worth the money. If I could buy one game I would choose this one.

I loved the songs, I would like to see the ability to jam without it hurting your star power added. I would like to see songs from bands I at least recognize be in the bonus section.

Great selection amazing game play. You cant beat it. This is amazing for parties. You can get new characters, and more unlockables.

Overall a good game, I just wish it came with more songs. Game has good graphics. Fun playing multiplayer over XBOX LIVE. Great game for when you have friends over.

Well, well, well. I thought that this was going to be as good, if not better, than GH2. I plugged it in and played it on Hard for about a day. I almost got to the end (instead I got to the point where it got really HARD), and when I woke up the next day, the novelty was gone. Sure, the songs are ok, and yes, those battles are entertaining (if not frustrating), but other than that, this is just Guitar Hero 2.5. The characters are the same, the graphics are still just as cheesy, and to be honest, the covers of the songs, well,...sound like cheesy covers! I am glad I got this as a gift, because I would not have bought this had I played it first. While it may be fun and challenging, I recommend saving your pennies and buying Rock Band. RB has much more depth and better songs. Heed my words and you shall not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed playing this game. It has a lot of awesome rock songs old and new. I would definitely suggest this to all rockers out there.

This is a great game, Through the Fire and Flames is the best song on any of the Guitar Hero games

This was a great family gift that everyone can use. Great for get togethers or single play. Helps with eye hand co-ordination

I recently bought the guitar hero III game and was very disappointed with the wireless guitar. I have Guitar Hero II and was very happy with the game and the wired guitar. I think Guitar Hero III is a good game as well, but only with the wired guitar. I returned the game twice to try three different wireless guitars and none of them worked. I would wait to buy this game until the wireless guitar is fixed.
