This game is okay. It's very difficult to play because a lot of the notes do not match with the song that's playing. It's offbeat most of the time but for $50 I'd buy it again.

I am currently having issues with the dongle Connecting to the guitar. Probably just a faulty unit, but they really should move to bluetooth.

I finally decided to jump on this cause it was on sale, should have stayed away. The game basically keeps you from playing the game. It forced us into a very long intro tutorial that was non skippable. Makes you play songs on a channel to earn points so you can actually play the songs you want. Very difficult to connect both guitars. Not seamless at all.

Not as fun as the previous versions, but still entertaining enough.

Let's jump right in. This game is good, the effects and new style play guitar really pulls you into the game. I've played the other guitar heros (I stopped purchasing after part 1 because it was the same stuff, but with different music) but this one, really turns the wheel. It's exciting to learn something new opposed to the same blue, green, yellow, red buttons. The crowd are live people opposed to cartoons in the old guitar hero which makes it just more realistic. The only thing that is lacking is multi-player does not have the co op mode where one person plays bass and another guitar. It's just 1 vs 1. But to be honest, it wasn't enough for me to take away 1 full star (maybe half a star if I was given the option) but that's just how good the game is. Trust me, buy it and you'll like it. GH TV is amazing too. Look into it if you don't know what it is. Basically you play new music with the music video in the background.

This game is very short, wants all activity to be online.... What happened to getting something for your money!

Kids dropped this like hot rock. Adults find it useless. The landfill took it, thankfully!

You'll be frustrated in the beginning with the new button layout but just give it some time and it will grow on you. It was due for something to be changed and I commend FreeStyleGames and Activision for doing this before the series really became stagnant. My favorite part of the game is Live Mode because to me that will never get old with more and more songs being added every week.

As the cool aunt, I had to pick up the newest Guitar Hero for when the munchkins come over. They used to love playing GH on the Wii, and the newest version is amazing on the PS4. Much better music, and the entire experience is more fun.

My kids and husband all get to play together having the two guitars and microphone. It's easy to use. Hours an hours of fun!

This is the best Guitar hero ever created! They changed the guitar to make it a little more challenging and a little more realistic. You can now play in front of what looks like a live crowd and have live crowd reactions. The coolest part(I think) is Guitar Hero TV, where you are playing during the actual band's music video. I miss the old MTV days where you could watch music videos, so this is great for me because I get to watch the videos and play along!
