It's fun but the older version is much better. Wish they kept the guitar from the older version

Not like the previous Guitar Hero's. 6 buttons instead of 5 and it's a lot more challenging because there's 3 black and 3 white. Live audience feature is cool and they respond to how well your playing so if your missing a lot of notes they start booing you.

So far it works and the kids are enjoying it. I would recommend

Seems to lack the ability to buy and download songs. Seems like the older games had more songs.

Enjoy the new and fresh way to play this game. Easy to learn but can get much more difficult.

One of the guitars had the dongle missing and couldn't return it for exchange. They don't allow you to buy this piece seperately. The game itself is right on target like the rest. The new configuration of the guitar takes some getting used to but it is a better layout.

Everything was awesome! Only problem was one guitar buttons sticks and messes up the song.

I didn't know what to expect after so many years w/o GH but I am very happy w my purchase.

First, I got this as a gift for Christmas and within 90 days, the strum bar on both guitars had failed and I had to take it back to the store. Thankfully, my wife purchased the GeekSquad protection and we were able to replace it at no cost. Second, the availability of pretty much any song online is pretty cool and allows the family and I to play pretty much any genre we want. Third, unfortunately, no matter what we do (e.g. direct to tv, through sound bar, etc.) there is always a split second delay between the note you play and the sound coming out. Overall, we enjoy playing the game, but having spent many hours playing previous versions of Guitar Hero, the previous versions were better.

The new style is definitely more of a challenge and I like the new features the game offers. However, I had to exchange out the first guitars I bought because the strum button only worked if I pushed it up and not if I strummed down. The new guitar I got to replace it isn't much better because it occasionally will double strum when you click it once. For instance when I strum down once to pick a different song it will skip down twice. It's a tad bit frustrating because this game is not cheap but the guitars seem to be made that way. I never had problems with previous guitar hero guitars I had and the only difference is the buttons on the top. Overall the game works fine and it's fun .

I've been playing guitar hero since the beginning and this game continues to live up to the fun of its predecessors. I wasn't sure about the new dinner button style, but it works a lot better.

But the whole pay to play per song is kinda bad. And if you're on a limited internet connection, it's about 200mb per song played from the streaming service (majority of songs). And the whole competitive score ladder on the side makes you feel less like a rockstar becuase it shows that you're not the best.

At first I didnt think it would be as good as the other guitar heros, buts its really fun and gives you the challenge at the higher levels

It's more complex than the previous games, but it makes it more fun! It will take longer to master, but that makes it more fun! Playing along with the "radio" makes it more fun, too!

This two pack of guitars has come in handy when having friends over!

I got this for my nephews xmas. They started off saying it was harder than the old version. After awhile they got used to it and are very happy with it.
