This is a welcomed refresh for this game series. The kindergarten colored keys are gone! Switching the keys to high and low (above and below each other) to more closely simulate a real guitar is awesome. What's even better is the real hi-def video of the crowds and band members when you play vice computer generated. The quality of the video is unreal. Get this game.

GHTV is a lot of fun. It is gratifying to play songs with the original music videos playing in the background. Great game to play when friends come by. I also got the GH Microphone; you can be the rock star you know you are!

This is the best guitar hero yet. Hand down. Other than maybe 5 lol. There is no paid DLC which is nice. You earn plays which can be used in the online "streaming" section to play songs on demand with new songs constantly being added. If you're tired of rock band being nothing but the same and want a fun game with a revised guitar controller, look no further.

Wasn't sure if I would like the new guitar layout but after playing on it for serval days I have to say I like it! I'm a big fan of these games and with the new layout I'm actually really challenged. I think activision made a smart move in changing things up. And my favorite thing about the game is to be able to play GHTV, always giving you new content to play!

Great rebirth of the guitar hero franchise. They took a risk, changed the formula and it works. The business model with the free Spotify type service is really cool too and the new guitar is challenging even for veterans.

This is a welcome change to the series with having two rows of buttons. My only concern is the longevity of the game so if you arent an avid guitar hero player, I wouldnt recommend it at full price. Otherwise, great game.

This is definitely an awesome setup, however we experienced a bit of trouble trying to sink the controller...operator error & misunderstanding, due to unclear direction. Still an awesome setup & worth every red-cent!

Guitar hero's new guitar was hard to get use to at first but once you get the hang of it, you'll have no problem! I love the new game modes that they've introduced

This is a new chapter of Guitar Hero not like the old style of game play. My 14 yr old enjoys the game very much. I think it's just average (maybe I'm just getting old). My Kids would recommend this game to a friend

I figured this was a rehash of and old product and in someways it is - only in that it's a game where you hit the colored notes... However the fret and keys are much more challenging, the music is all online, no need to buy more cd's, and it progressive. Go try it out live in a BB store you'll see what I mean. Great improvement over past version

maybe its cause im older but most of the music on here is trendy new stuff I don't much care for and the new layout is kinda hard to get used to but its cool how its all live action like youre really playing a set

There are top and bottom fret buttons (6 total) and I had a easy time getting through the tutorial but was unable to play the actual game. The game is fun but it is a way big change from previous versions.

I've purchased / played the previous Guitar Hero in the past and experienced great play, but this game truly made me a number one fan with so many online options. The changes to the entire game has been amazing and truly gratifying. If you are on the fence about this game, don't hesitate anymore. Get it now, you will not regret it.
