I played almost all of the guitar he or and Rockband games until they became second nature to me. With this new iteration of the game for the current generation console, I was relieved I to see that something new went into it. First thing you will notice is the controller. Instead of a linear fret, you get 6 fret keys that are laid out as pairs. There are no more color keys, just black and white symbols. this adds for new strategies. I must admit that I do miss the old layout. Second, the graphics. There are no more cartoons in the games. they have been replaced by "live" audience that I thought was cool. The crowd reacts to how good you are. the music selection is okay, about 50-ish songs on the disc but there is a TV online mode that unlocks hundreds more. The songs are played at random if you want them for free, or else you will have to spend real money for them. Good news is that you do not need PSN Plus to access this mode. I enjoyed the game and am glad they came out with a new version.

bought this for my boyfriend as he constantly plays it at the store. he's hooked on it even his brother too.

If you enjoyed Guitar Hero back in the day you'll enjoy it now. The new button layout on the guitar takes a few songs to get used to, but once you get used to it it feels very intuitive. My only complaint is the song selection on the disc is kinda lacking, but Guitar Hero TV is fantastic.

My wife plays it for hours. Loves the new guitar format and the ability to watch the videos while playing.

Bought this game for my girls ands we absolutely love it. Recommend getting the mic for great family fun.

Fun FUn game that brings back amazing memories from the early Guitar Hero/ Rock Band craze. The 3 buttons instead of 5 has been a welcome addition

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he loves it...the "live " aspect is really cool......getting boo'd when you are not doing well it's really funny. A must buy game for the PS4.

This is a great addition to my sons game systems but we like the older guitar compared to the new one.

I got it in sale plus i have gamers club unlock so i save even more money its was definitely worth it

The new controls make playing the guitar less difficult and the selection of songs are pretty good.

I first played guitar hero on a ps3 and getting used to the upgrades has been challenging. My hand-eye coordination isn't good enough for this but I do enjoy watching my boyfriend play it!

Great song choices. Playing the "guitar" is very different from the original, but more realistic.

It's a good game for teenagers, the younger kids get discouraged with it because they get booed.

Game is entertaining and new guitar is interesting, but the GH Live mode really shines as it gives more songs. Game is super casual so you can pick up and play, but offers no real depth to keep you long term.

Kids play this mainly, played it once or twice. Now doesnt want to play as it is " kinda hard"

It's super fun. Was a pain to get the guitar to connect. Had to bypass something in the WiFi.

So I was all excited to play this game and when I got home, I realized that I bought the Playstation one and not the Xbox One. Best Buy made it simple for me to exchange the next day.

Very good song selection. I'm not a big fan of the guitar changes but am getting used to it.
