When we first started playing, we were overwhelmed by the tutorial, thinking it was going to be a very hard game or that the controller was not working perfectly. In fact, the tutorial turns out to be pretty difficult - which may be by design as you will likely get to experience the effects of poor playing on your fans and band-mates. The live audience experience is much more fun than I had expected it to be. Also, the online music video feature is pretty amazing and brings much more replay to the game than previous versions I've played.

So far I really enjoy playing this. Imo it's the best GH yet.

I liked guitar hero a few years back and just thought I was buying one with more songs and a better background. Turns out it's more complicated and not for someone who is just learning to play this game (I.e. a 9 year old). She is still just doing the strum part because having to move her fingers from top to bottom is a little to hard yet.

This game is amazing. But I struggled so much with the new controller. The songs are decent, but the best ones has to be paid for within the games store system. You can use real money, or points accumulated within the game. If that wasn't the case, this would trump Rock Band.

Guitar Hero is tons of fun! Has different levels of play so that everyone can play. Great game!

Guitar hero live is like the other Guitar Hero installments. The one key change is the button placement. Instead of having 5 colored buttons, we now have 2 colors and 6 buttons. It is odd, but not bad. My guess is, this is a new way to simulate a real guitar. If you enjoyed any of the others, then you'll be sure to enjoy this one.

This game is great. A lot like the previous titles, but with a live feel. All of the sets are live with real bands. It's very fun and addicting to play, but with all the live action going on around it, the background can get a little distracting. Over all it's a great game that makes you feel like your really performing a concert.
