Overall the game plays great on the switch but there seems to be a issue with docked mode. The game doesnt switch to a higher resolution which makes the game look blurry especially on bigger displays. However the game runs great and plays smooth

I really don’t get what all the hype was about maybe it’s just not my type of game but this really didn’t grab my attention

Hades totally deserves the praise bestowed. Its gameplay loop is crisp, including a satisfying storyline, and great soundtrack! Each attempt you make to escape the underworld will allow you to learn, upgrade your stats, and get even farther the next time! You'll find yourself quickly improving, and eager to keep pushing until you finally reach your goal. There are 6 weapons, with completely different movesets, and the rogue like levels ensure that you will never have the same run twice. There are pretty much endless ability combinations, depending on the boons you pick up. If you're still on the fence, just go for it, as I promise you won't be disappointed. Thanks!

I've been waiting on this game to release ever since a friend of mine told me about it while it was in development. He showed me the trailer and I was SOLD INSTANTLY. I especially LOVED the fact that this was a Nintendo Switch console exclusive for some time. Well suited to the platform.

This game is one of my favorite games & definitely deserved to win GOTY
