Ho Hum

The twin lead guitars are great. The drumming / bass / rhythm section is top notch. So much to like but it just doesn't do anything for me. I have nothing against M Shadows. I just think this music deserves a vocalist with better range. I know Avenged Sevenfold has a rabid fan base and I don't wish to slam this band or album. It just doesn't do anything for me.

Great Hard Rock Album

Fans of the last three AX7 albums will love it. AX7 is easily the most competent musicians in metal today. The only thing I didn't like is how the opening riff to "this means war" sounds just like "sad but true" by Metallica!
