Won't stay tuned

I tuned the strings, started playing it, and within a few chords, the strings were out of tune again. This went on for 4 weeks... daily, until I bought a better ukelele from Guitar Center.

It always came loose and when trying to play certain notes, it wouldn't play without "twanging"
