I just got this game 3 days ago for my birthday. I started playing it yesterday and finished today. So, as you can tell it's short. As a 14 year old girl I must say, it was pretty fun while it lasted, but if you play for about 4 hours for 2 days you would finish the game. (depending on how skilled you are) It's fun with the puzzles and zombies. The map is easy to read because it shows where your enemy is, the beacon, and gates. It also has a special mode where you can see your enemy's in red and your buddies in green outlining (it's like night-vision but a little different)

ok...before you get quick assumptions, i AM related to Joseph Staten, and I got a taste of ODST at E3 2009...I can describe what parts I played in one word...AMAZING! let me explain: Firefight: Firefight is a NEW multiplayer "co-op mode" where covenant come in waves, similar to Gears of War's "Horde Mode", but WAY harder YES U CAN HAZ RECON!!! When I was with Joe, he explained that you have to get ALL 7 VidMaster Challenge Acheivements to unlock Recon for multiplayer use (3 1/2 on Halo 3 via Title Update 2 and the other 3 1/2 are programmed in Halo 3 ODST)...trust me, THEY ARE NOT EASY TO GET AT ALL....the easiest one is "7 on 7" xxSPOILERSxx anyways, to the story....the game is set 2 weeks before the events of Halo 3. You are the Rookie (real name unknown). When you are "dropping into hell", a covenant cruiser carrying the prophet of regret goes into slipspace, causing an interferrence with the landing...which results in the troopers dividing. When you wake up about 6 hours later, your teammates (Buck, Romeo, Dutch, Mickey, Dare) are missing...it is up to you to figure out what happened to each member....which explains the whole "choosing the pattern you play the levels" overall.... if you're a Halo fan, RESERVE IT if you like FPS games, RESERVE IT if you hate FPS games, RENT IT if you're a hardcore Halo Hater WHY ARE YOU READING THIS REVIEW?

This game will be the best shooter and co-op of 2009. The graphics are extremely new and the gameplay view is great. There will be a new and improved ranking system similar to the Call of duty series and this game will be allot of fun. If you buy this game you will receive the new Mythic Maps Pack 2 and a code to unlock the halo reach online beta. This will be a great game and i recommend it to everyone.

First off, Halo Wars was a great game put out by Ensemble Studios, Not Bungie like all the other Halo games. This will be a FPS...it will also be a way to get the New Halo 3 Multilayer maps, as well as Recon armor. According to all the press releases this will be more of a stealth played game. Should be fun for all.

This game was a huge let down. It was far too short seeing as it only took around 5 hours to beat. The multiplayer is just Halo 3 with nothing new. The only thing I really enjoyed about this game was the new firefight mode. If you are a huge fan of the Halo series you might enjoy this game more than I did, but if you're not I would suggest renting it first.

I pre-ordered the game, and well for about 3 weeks it was awesome, but then after a month, NOBODY and I mean NOBODY ever played it again, but if you are DIEING for the Halo: Reach beta, you might as well get it if you have LIVE because the Halo: Reach beta is the best thing ever.

I think it is going to be a really good first person shooting game like halo 1, 2, and 3. I think they new that they messed up on releasing halo wars, was not as good as people were hoping and or thinking....this game will be with bungie... which makes me sleep better at night. I had nightmares when i played halo wars, luckily i only downloaded the trial version.

Its like a mystery adventure game in first person. If Halo:CE and Halo 3 had a baby this would be it. The story is very imersive and once you have run out of things to do in the story you can go to Firefight.

This game will actually be released 9/22/09. So disregard the false release date, it wont be 9/15/09. This game is one of the most anticipated games for 360 fans. It has some sweet game modes and the multiplayer is going to be really fun!

I played firefight at Gamestop, their tour of the country, and it was AWESOME!!! I pre ordered ODST at a Best Buy near my house, but they didn't say anything about the token to use Sgt. Johnson. Does it come with the game or what?

If your looking for a fun, exciting, awesome game that has a bang for your 60 bucks, get modern warefare 2, halo 3 odst isnt very good, fire fight is ok, but its not duel weild, which sucks. story is good but short.

Game looks great. Can't be positive about anything now and days, but it's practically guaranteed that the game will be amazing. Bet on a million sold in its first 48 hours.

The halo saga continues with the new game- Halo 3 Odst. This game is the continuation of halo 3 and is completely revamped and supercharged. Your not spartan 117, more commonly known as, master chief, you are an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper and play the entire game as a new character. This game will be one of the best of the year with all new game types such as firefight, where you vanquish waves of covenant fleets with a set number of lives. The only thing that keeps me hesitant about this game is the taking away of shields and converting it into stamina and health packs. I'm not one hundred percent sure what this is like, but im not too scared. I can't wait for this beast of a game to come out!!!!!! XD
