Customers are saying

Customers highly value the multiplayer, graphics, and weapons in Halo 3 Platinum Hits, with many praising the exciting online battles and impressive visuals. The story and maps also receive positive feedback, while the Forge mode is considered a standout feature by some players. However, some find the campaign mode to be too short and easy, suggesting a lack of challenge for some players. Overall, the game's strengths lie in its multiplayer and customization options, though improvements to the campaign's length and difficulty could enhance the experience.

I loved this game but it could have been a little bit longer of a game. I was a little disappointed about the graphics but who cares. I WOULD GIVE THIS A 10 OUT OF 10. BUY IT WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT. NO QUESTIONS

I had fun with Halo one and two so I got this one, I played so much that after a while I got bored and knew all the maps by heart so stopped until the new Halo is coming out. Halo ODST looks awesome.

I preordered my copy of halo 3, about a month ago. The game I think will be the game of the decade unless microsoft comes out with halo 4 before 2010. But until then I think it will be the greatest game.

this game is very addicting. you can play the storline alone or with up to 3 friends. but, to get the most out of this game, you need x-box live, and if you are like me, you can't. this is still a great game.

The ability to play campaign with 4 people is a new and exciting feature which I love. I also love the new story line and the gameplay on live is superb as usual with the Halo titles. BUY THIS GAME!!

This game is not only worth the $60 I paid for it, I would have paid twice that. This series just keeps getting better and better. If you are a gamer, you'd have to be crazy not to pick this one up!!

    Best Online Multiplayer, boring otherwise

Fans of Halo will love this game. Especially the online side of the game. Personally I find the presentation of the game to be almost cartoonish, nothing seems very lifelike. You would thing something like the Flood would look really gross and rather scary, but with the colors and character mapping used they look rather lame. The weapons are almost all the same as the previous games, and are pretty boring. If you are looking for a fun first person shooter look into: F.E.A.R. or F.E.A.R. Files (my personaly favorites), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, or the new Battlefield: Bad Company.

Make your own forge map is the funnest feature of the Halo 3. Multiplayer on Xbox live is more fun then any other xbox live game. Halo 3 is better than all the expectations it was said to be.

I can't wait to play online with the ranking +matchmaking updates, but sadly i cant. this is a great game online, even though matchmaking gets stale eventually, but custom games are fun.

This is a great game for anyone of any skill level. Even if the hardest difficulty isnt enough there is unlockable content to make it harder still. Tons of online content and a lot of fun

In my opinion this is the best Halo game in the series. It's awesome with all those videos on youtube that use machinima to make the game into a show. But overall it's a great game

    Overrated but good casual fun

The game is casual and here is why: 1) You can only move in a single speed making it easy to lead and kill people. Not to mention that you cannot take cover or roll and dodge. Your character and other characters do not make noise when they run despite being in full armor and carrying clanky weapons. This makes no sense and removes any need for stealth. Any serious game should have noise be a factor. 2) The weapons are terribly designed. The sniper gets 4 shots before you get out of the scope meaning you don't have to be that good to kill with it. Not to mention besides the power weapons most other weapons take a long time to kill a person. Yet the power weapons just take one hit to kill, maybe two. This means that someone with a normal weapon vs. a power weapon will have no chance at all and encourages spawn killing as newly spawned players start with nothing more than an assault rifle that takes a full clip to kill someone with. 3) Luck of whether or not people spawn behind you determines a lot of battles rather than skill with the weapons and evasion. . It is pretty easy to pick up and play so it is very casual gamer friendly. The matching system will place you with people of the same skill level as well, so you don't get destroyed as that would be no fun. The ability to play ranked with your friends is a great touch and so is the theater. Being able to share clips with your friends is very cool. While the teams can be large there are very few maps to play. There are maybe 3 or 4 per game type and with the randomness I usually get the same 2 over and over. I got bored of Halo pretty fast because the same maps have the same tired strategy and it felt too repetitive. . Bottom Line: Good game, but not my type of game.

    Don't Understand the Hype

I bought into the hype of halo 3 and picked up the 360. I have a hdtv and a ps2 so I figured an upgrade in gaming system was in order. I didn't play Halo or Halo 2 so I don't know if that makes a difference. The game is okay I just don't understand why everyone loves this game. If you get shot you can just hide for a moment and your health will regenerate. This is just one of the reasons I find the game to be so-so. I also recently played Rainbow Six Vegas and MOH Airborne. So far Vegas is the best game I've played on the 360 out of about 10 games.

4 person co-op is a great feature on Halo 3. 2-person co-op on xbox live was on our wishlist for Halo 2, so this is definately someting we've been looking forward to for a long time.

I got halo 3 after I had played both halo and halo 2. I never carried much for them but still wanted to give halo 3 a try. I play for a week and got really bored with it. Online with 3 friends was fun untill you played it all. The other online s*ucked it was the same as halo 2 still people jumping around! I found that to take no skill at all. I am going to stick to playing rainbow six online because you have to be able to plan an attack or your dead.

This game is the last of the trilogy (Sadly) but bungie promised the halo theme is not going to be put to rest. Next on the halo list is "Halo Wars" a R.T.S (Real Time Strategy).
