Just an average FPS game but pales in comparison to the greats such as HL.

This game was ok. Please buy Gears of War other than this junk. custom games was the only thing that was fun.

The game is good but get boring way to fast, do yourself a favor and spend your $60 on Call of Duty 4 instead.

good but not great needs bette rmultiplayer,live is great but other than live it lacks halo 2 campian

If you like Halo 2, you'll like this game, as it's essentially nothing but the same thing with a new paint job. There are better FPS games out there - obviously, games that didn't get the hype this did - but they're worth it.

awful period. i just think that the game lacks new things.i mean like it should of brought something new but i didnt. and xbox live is the same its just a bunch of people glitching and jumping around. dont get me wrong its fun. just not worth all the hype

Yes, I found this game boring. I would watch my friends play the first Halo game and wonder why they liked it so much. I never had the first XBox, so I never got around buying it. I didn't hear too much about Halo 2, but when Halo 3 came out and had all this attention with my owning a XBox 360, i thought, what the heck, why not. At first it seemed like it had potential, but then what seemed to be fund, just kept repeating itself. All you do is walk in one direction, then you turn around and head back. Every level is like that. And the same thing happens. All this flashing lights (aka, weapons) keep going off. I have no interest anymore in these dull Halo games. Now Half-Life, that's a series.

This game is really boring online and offline if you dont have DLC. And how much health you have just ruins the game. The only good thing about this game is the Graphics and Grifball.

This is the worst halo game yet. It is nothing like COD4. If you got to choose witch game to choose go with COD4. In this game you have to unload WAY to much ammo just to kill ONE person.

Game will not load on 250gb Xbox, 360 keep getting error message that "must be played in xBox360 which it is, the other 10 games we have do well, ever older Sonic games

I was kind of excited about this game coming out but not overly like some fanatics, Halo 1 was tremendous and Halo 2 was even more spectacular, but as soon as I played halo 3 I was disgusted,they changed the weapons schematics,and the bubble shield? the bubble shield!!!!!?!?!?!?!?! whats that?, but anyway they brought back the magnum which I was stoked about.............but it was pretty shotty,everything about this game was uncool,the multiplayer,the maps....gross do not buy unless you are a die hard fan

Overall, it was an OK game, I mean the story was kind of useless, and the ending too, I give it 1 star, I mean if you want a game which is good, get Gears of War.

I know its halo and everyone makes it out to be so good. Its like 100 other games out there and the graphics arent even close to a game like Gears.

The game should be 1080i but not true when you play co-op on split screen is on 4:3 format only not widescreen so you get two black bars on the tv.

you really need to play the other halo's in order to even remotely understand this game. but you shouldnt have to play all those games to form your own opinion after playing this terrible game. first the online game itself. your going against top notch players who already know how to play. its not that fun to play online and it is overrated. the story itself is very weird. i got into to at first but at the end it was terrible.

Halo 3 Rocks!!!! It is the best 3rd person shoter game ever made!! Halo is my favorite game for X Box 360 that I on. Rock on halo!!!
