Great story, great co op story, addictive multiplayer action, with smooth graphics

One of the best multiplayer experience since Halo 3, but falls behind due to lack of split screen. Halo franchise will always be known as having split screen multiplayer, and the fact that split screen was taken out ruins one of the core values of the game. With that being said though, it still is a great game and I would recommend this to any Halo fan.

My favorite Halo game would still be Halo 2 or 3. Took a while to get used to the new controls, but I guess it works for the new features that have been added to this game. I still enjoy playing this game online quite a bit. Very displeased though that they got rid of split-screen options. Overall though, I think I prefer CoD BLOps games over Halo now.

Halo 5 was a great continuation of the Master Chief story.....until you start playing Locke. Seeing Locke from Halo: Nightfall and Buck from Halo 3: ODST as newly minted Spartans on a team to track down Master Chief was a bit of a stretch. No backstory was given as to why they would be picked or volunteer for it. On the other hand, the Blue team consisting of Master Chief and his fellow Spartans was a welcomed change. You get to see the dynamic and brotherhood between the characters. All in all Halo 5 is a great game with a good plot line in the campaign. It has a good feel to the weapons and most of the characters are fleshed out pretty well. The Multiplayer is pretty good and is still striving even this long after its release. Worth the pickup.

While the story line is short and not exactly what I expected from the trailers, it is quite enjoyable. It would have been fun to perform some of the moves they show in the preview such as the parkour action. Multiplayer online is where the game excels. New moves such as Ground Pound are awesome and the action is fast paced, as you'd expect. My only gripe is that there's no split screen.

I was skeptical about the game after reading some reviews on other sites, but I wasn't going to let that stop me from playing my favorite franchise. After playing, I feel like the campaign was good. Multiplayer was a bit of a struggle for me, but is still pretty good. There are plenty of game types for online play. I would recommend the game to anyone that wanted a great game to play.

I didn't get this when it first came out because I thought the reviews said it wasn't very good. But I think it is a great Halo game. They added a few new movement mechanics that are welcome and the level design is very nice. The story feels like a good follow on from Halo 4 and was very interesting.

Probably the best Halo since the original. My only issue is the single player game seems a bit short. The graphics are top notch as well as the gameplay. But be prepared....took 3.5 hours for the game to burn to the XBOX ONE hard drive. And that's before you can even play it! Online has been fun, but people rarely use a headset so you cannot communicate with your teammates.

The game is visually stunning and a must have for your Xbox One Console! Online multiplayer works seamlessly and connects you right away without lag. It takes a few tries to get used to like any other game but once you get the controls down multiplayer is very very fun! Worth the money especially if you have a gamers unlocked best buy membership.

I used to not like playing multiplayer on previous Halo games (and I've been playing them since they first came out), but this one has something special about it. I actually play the multiplayer than I play the campaign, which is weird for me. And this isn't because the story sucks, because it doesn't. This game is hard to explain, just buy it.

Halo 5: Guardians continues the story of the Halo saga in what ended up being one of my favorite entries in the series. The campaign offers challenging, action-packed, and overall awesome levels and battles and the new game play elements make for a more fun and competitive multiplayer. This a must have for Halo fans and just casual FPS players.

I read that the story wasn't all that great but I disagree. It's a bit convoluted at times and might not play out as people were led to believe. Overall I think it was good, it's setting up for a great Halo 6. Multiplayer, as always, is the meat of Halo. Lots of fun with friends. Warzone is a fun new mode that is similar to Titanfall. The arena games and maps are great as usual.

Halo 5 further improves the elements of Halo 4, bigger environments, more cohesive story, strong character moments. Main campaign is a bit short though and the story clearly leads to a follow up title so it can be a little unsatisfying. Multiplayer is as strong as ever with even more features added, but still keeping the core Halo gameplay intact. A must for any Xbox One owner

The story had some good twist and turns, but it didn't seem like a good stand alone game. It seems to be more of a preset up to the next game. The gameplay also seems to be drawing more influence from the Call of Duty games. The AI companions also don't follow directions or offer much assistance. It's an okay game, but not the best Halo game.

Halo 5 is a nice continuation of the Halo series. The graphics are beautiful, now running @ 60 frames per second. The combat is fun, and the level design is well done. It's fun to explore the levels. The only negative is that there is no split screen multi-player. They say that was one sacrifice they had to make to get the graphics to look as good as they do and run so smoothly.

Well the campaign played great but the story really didn't tie the new players together. What really makes this game stand out from the other halos (in a good way) is the multiplayer experience. The new multiplayer places you in a match with players exactly like your skill, I haven't played a match I have won or lost by more than 10 points.

Fun and exciting but loses something without local split screen. Multiplayer is awesome war zone is a great addition my only real complaint is that my order showed the long shot rifle and Athlon armour on my order receipt in the MyBestBuy account and I was told that it was not included. Strange as it shows on my receipt. Anyway great game

If you are a Halo fan, or even just a fan of a good sci-fi story then this game is for you. It is action packed. has amazing environments. many different enemy and weapon types. and overall is just an extremely solid and well put together title. This game can sell Xbox One consoles on its own. If you happen to have an Xbox One then this should be your next purchase. 10/10.
