I have loved all the Halo games, and I enjoy this one as well. If you are a Halo fan who plays alone on your tv and enjoys the multiplayer aspect the most then this is a perfectly fine sequel for you to enjoy. However, if you enjoy playing split-screen with a partner at home then I have bad news because that aspect is gone. Campaign also seems relatively short and unsatisfactory. You can of course play with friends online, but the days of couch co-op are gone for now and I really really dislike that because I have always played at home with friends and family. But it's pretty fun for what it is and looks great. I really hope they bring back split-screen in the future because otherwise I might not come back for another sequel.

Good story, good game, good graghics, and good multi player. Awesome!!!

The overall story is decent but I wish you got to play as Master Chief more than Agent Locke. The gameplay changes may not have been liked by many, but I really enjoyed it and played the crap out of multiplayer.

This game is a different style of Halo game and that's not necessarily bad but there are aspects of older Halo games which I enjoyed, like split-screen. Halo 5 is a overall fun game and the online multilayer modes are very enjoyable. I can't wait however for more maps as the current selection is quite limited in the style of play.

This game was fun and challenging. The smaller areas were almost unnoticeable when playing because of the many hidden rooms that make it great for replaying levels. The plot was a little confusing at times and centered mostly around Fireteam Osiris but all in all it was a great game with amazing graphics and challenging gameplay.

Great campaign! The online play is spot on. The controls are perfect!

Halo 5 is not my favorite game in the franchise but they did add new elements to the franchise with this game. This game is also very challenging especially taking out the Guardians. Can't wait for Halo Infinite which I will be pre ordering can't wait to play it in 4k on the Series X!

I've been playing the Halo series since the first game was released and Guardians is a worthy successor to the series. The game continues the excellent cinematic story of Master Chief and Cortana, picking up where Halo 4 left off. There are also great new weapon and vehicle additions. My friend and I were able to beat the game playing co-op, super fun!

The actual game play is amazing, as with all Halo games. But the story lacks a satisfying ending. I was thinking, that's the end?? Not many cool new weapons, but several that were lousy in H4 are now way better (pretty much all Forerunner gear). Bad guys are badder than ever. I got killed when a Grunt meleed me!! Fun stuff.

I love the graffics and game play! The story line is great as well!

Pretty impressive so far. Runs at a silky smooth 60fps. Multiplayer is great, the campaign's story is a bit lacking but serviceable. Only problem I've had so far is lack of ammo drops for the Spartan weapons. Don't get attached to that SMG or battle rifle because you'll need to swap it out with an alien gun at some point.

Have played Halo since the beginning and when I heard this game was coming out for the Xboxone, I knew I had to have it! Campaign is epic from the start and multiplayer has such more content than never before. Now with the addition of the REQ system, you have greater advantages over your competitors. If you're a hardcore Halo fan, I would highly recommend.

Awesome game play and graphics, not to mention a great story line.

After Unity was a huge disappointment, Syndicate improves on everything I could want. Better story, better performance, not buggy at launch, better general gameplay, and a better leveling and upgrade system. I had a lot of fun playing through the game and would recommend that anyone disappointed by Unity tries Syndicate.

The campaign picks up after Halo 4, with a decent story. Most players will be disappointed that for most of the game you're playing as a different spartan. Multi-player is as good as you would expect from a halo game. I like the balance Halo provides, you don't get better gear because you pay more or play all the time.

The game is very fun to play and very smooth. It looks great but it struggles in a few areas. The marketing leading up the release was very misleading as far as the story goes. And the multiplayer arena only has 5 playlists with only a handful of maps. It has potential but I would wait for more updates if I could go back

Halo comes back after a few years hiatus from original content (Master Chief Collection= remakes)! 343 Industries has done an amazing job with putting life back into Halo, with a whole new multiplayer set up and ranking system. Gameplay is very intense and all encompassing. Graphically, it is a very crisp and clean game.

Overall it's fun I wish that they had split screen option. Pros: single player story is fun , can be challenging Multiplayer is pretty challenging . Cons: You can't play with friends at home. Takes long time to get better if you are not use to the game

I've been a huge Halo fan for years. For me the lack of split screen is a real inconvenience. I've always been able to play online with my friends, not everybody is able to purchase the system so we have to take turns to let them try the game. The story mode also seem to be lacking. But the online play is really great.

Recently bought an Xbox One specifically play through all the Halo games. I hadn’t done research beforehand, so I was pretty upset to get the game downloaded to console and realize that we couldn’t play this split screen like I had with the collection. Great gameplay and great graphics.
