This is honestly one of the prettiest presentations of a game my eyes have witnessed thus far. It's a fun dynamic as the campaign is centered around 4 man teams so co-op play is encouraged. Not to mention all reviews point to the multiplayer being the best halo experience to date. A must own for any Xbox One owner.

I played the first and second halo on Xbox. After the second on I kinda lost interest. But playing halo 5 brought me back to liking it. Everything about it is amazing. You name it it's got it. The only thing is they did away with split screen. But made up for it it co op campaign. Overall it's a defenite five star

I've been eagerly awaiting this game for years having been a fan of halo since I was 6. I was excited to see where they took this story. But they really didn't take it very far.. The game is full of cutscenes that seem rushed and are ended abruptly leaving you feel like there was part of the conversation that you missed. There are several unanswered questions that seemed important but really didn't change the characters behavior in any way. But that gameplay. Wow. Every second of a fight was fast-paced and packed with action and abilities that left you feeling like a spartan. The environments are an incredible improvement over halo 4. And the level design is very well done. Also having the squad mechanic from replubic commando made it all more epic and fun to play. Overall I feel the gameplay was more important to 343 than the story. There is a balance of putting equal work into the story and the gameplay, but they unfortunately didn't find it. Halo 5 is running at a crisp 60 FPS at all times with an ever changing dynamic resolution. It makes the game run like butter but will look a little sloppy in the high action areas. Even still the game is pretty and never suffers from framerate issues. I personally love all the MP changes and I think you will too!

I bought this game after reading the reviews. As a Halo fan I enjoy this game. I played through the story and really enjoyed the campaign. The multiplayer is similar to the previous Halo games, but Warzone mode really adds that large scale conflict that the previous games lacked.

I'm not an die hard Halo follow. Compared to Halo 4, I miss the split screen coop. The graphics and storyline was awesome. If you could afford Xbox Live, Its a fun game on multiplayer. My son loves the customization on Halo.

Overall the game at its core is halo, but in a more deeper aspect it introduces more multi-player scenarios like warzone which are fun. The story is short but pretty good. If you like halo you won't be disappointed but if you've never liked halo there isn't much to change that.

I really like the direction they took this game, the controls are a lot more like similar FPSs so online feels a lot better. They slimed down on the bloated powers system so everything is more kinetic and fast paced. It's not perfect but a great step in the right direction.

I had my expectations low after the MCC botch-job. However, this is an excellent game--fantastic, addictive multiplayer with dedicated servers and free content support. The story is cheesy, but the campaign itself is fantastic--challenging, gorgeous, with wonderful banter & set pieces. Give this one a shot.

Haven't played halo for years and wanted to get a game before I play the new Halo on XBox X. A little disappointed with the game only having 15 missions. The story and scenery on my 4k tv looks awesome. Good shooter game.

The game was extremely satisfying to play both gameplay and story wise. The direction the games takes at the end really makes you look forward to the next in the series. I do wish there was more time with the Master Chief rather than team Osiris and the campaign was a little short.

I hated Halo 4. I saw a promotion that let me pick this up for $28 and thought why not. Well I was pleasantly surprised. Its story mode and online multiplayer is quite well done this time around. I especially love the warzone multiplayer mode. Definately worth checking out.

One of the best Halo multiplayer experiences out there. Get it if you want to go online and wreck some stuff. War zone is amazing with their new REQ system. The story was not as good as I hoped. It was not dramatic and was not as advertised/marketed. You play as the master chief in 3 missions out of 11.

Practically no issues with multiplayer which is a huge departure from MCC. I wish the story was a bit longer, but it looks great and was fun! Req pack system makes multiplayer a bit more interesting and you get to open "packs" for new armor/skins/weapons. Similar to burn cards in Titanfall. A+ overall!

The campaign isn't that great compared to the other Halo games, but it's still enjoyable overall. The multiplayer is fairly solid for a Halo game and adds a few new aspects such as Warzone. It's not perfect but it's a great game worthy of a buy.

Halo 5 should be owned by anyone with an Xbox One. The game focuses on getting the mechanics smooth, and it is the best gameplay Halo has ever had. The campaign has lots of fun moments and the multiplayer will last a long time. All downloadable maps will be free so no need to worry about a season pass!

Halo 5 Guardians is another stellar title in my favorite series. The campaign is a lot of fun, although my only complaint is that there is too much Locke and not enough Master Chief! The multiplayer is a lot of fun too - I especially like the SWAT game type. I'm having a lot of fun playing this game!

Just an excellent addition to the Halo franchise. Very fun and smooth multiplayer with no glitches or freezing, even in the giant Warzone matches. Fun weapons. Easy Req system that makes getting lucky for weapons or vehicles a thing of the past. Get what you want, when you want. Best part of the game!

I kinda hate that they took the split screen away because I grew up playing this game with my friends actually in the room, also the campaign is a little short.. Besides that, this is one of the best looking games I've had. Fun, and like how they added a team of Spartans

Solid gameplay that feels similar to halo 3. The graphics are great and the mutiplayer modes are enjoyable. What I don't like is that Master Chief is not the main character in the campaign. It is Halo. Solid attempt to change things up though even if I disagree with it.
