I do not play campaigns much so this review is primarily on the multiplayer (MP) portion of HALO 5. I think the MP looks great and plays smooth. The introduction of the REQ system is a great addition to the game with a ton of upgrades to unlock. I bought the game knowing what to expect since I have played HALO thru all Microsoft systems and this one was no different. I bought this game just to fill the bridge between Destiny and Black Ops 3. Did not expect it to blow me away and it didn't. Going to be traded in once BO3 releases but I just prefer that series more. One day thing I heard about the campaign was the removal of local co-op. I know people enjoyed playing HALO this way and are mad it was left out. -Microsoft said that 343 said their audience primarily plays online but I think they missed a good size audience with local co-op removed.

This series of games has been a favorite since the original XBOX. With the new addition, the graphics and story are better than ever. I made sure to make this one of my first game purchases with this system.

Best Halo to date. I haven't finished the campaign but I've been more than happy so far. However, were Halo really wins this time around is it's multiplayer. I have spent way too much of my time playing round after round when I should be doing other things. Highly addictive!

The campaign was meh. Not nearly as intriguing as I was expecting. The commercials made it seem more tense and exciting than it really is. Plus I was confused more than once. At least the multiplayer is fun. Controls feel great and it's just fun

Halo 5 is much superior to the rest! It's play is fun and new. It's not the same old game, doing the same old thing. The graphics on the Xbox one are amazing! The speed of the game could be a bit better but unless you are a developer, you won't notice it. Fun, fun, fun!!!!

Love the graphics and sound effects, looks like a true next gen game. The weapons are really balanced. Besides the power weapons, every other weapon doesn't overpower another. Best thing is all maps are FREE no season pass. New maps every month.

While I didn't find the story as compelling as in the first three games, HALO 5 boasts some amazing graphics, great level design, and interesting gameplay. It is a must for all HALO fans, and a testament to what the Xbox One is capable of.

Halo 5 is a great extension to the Halo series. The graphics are excellent which enhance the quality entertainment experience of both the single-player and multiplayer elements of the game. I would easily recommend this game to anyone who has been a fan of the Halo series.

I haven't really been a die hard Halo player but I was pleased to see what the next episode had to offer on the next gen systems. I have only just started, but am pleased with the gameplay, visual and campaign. The online is solid and I am pleases with my purchase so far.

Despite my love of Halo I would still say it's a great game. Switching between Locke and Master Chief is cool. Giving 2 origin points for the story. And the revival function helps lousy players like me get through the story. I haven't finished it yet but I'm happy so far.

This game is sooooo awesome! The story is a little week compared to the rest of the Halo games, though the graphics and gameplay make up for that. It is by far the best Halo in comparison of graphics and gameplay. So many new features and weapons. Awesome xbox exclusive.

Halo has another great installment, full of riveting story, fast-paced game play and a gorgeous setting. Any fan of the franchise will enjoy this latest addition. I for one miss the split-screen multiplayer feature, but it's not enough for me to regret buying this game.

The multiplayer experience is really great, but the single player story isn't the best. The Forerunners are a uninteresting enemy with blah weapons. I have never been a fan. The best weapons in the game are the UNSC human weapons.

I love the continued story of Halo. I waited like two years to buy it from the first day it was first out. Love it. However, dislike that it doesn't allow split screen on local multiplayer

Guardians is beautiful. Gameplay is everything you've come to expect from the franchise with a couple welcome additions. The story is good as always but it's really built for multi-player gaming. Multi-player is where the game really shines.

Halo 5 is the biggest Xbox One exclusive yet, and in a lot of ways, it delivers. Most of the weapons feel useful this time around, and the controls and game mechanics are as tight and as fun as ever. The campaign is okay, but with a few glaring flaws; first and foremost, it appears Master Chief is being phased out, as he is only playable in 3 missions. This isn't a deal breaker for me, except the new guy, Spartan Locke, is devoid of any personality at all. The second major campaign fumble is their reuse of the same boss over and over. It's lazy game design. As far as the multiplayer goes, it's a huge step up from Halo 4. Warzone is a fun new mode for casual play, but Breakout is the best new mode, with the added intensity of knowing that if you die, you're done for the round. It's a welcome addition to the Halo playlist.

Epic game-multiplayer is much better and faster and Warzone is sick. Storyline is a little convoluted but willing to look past it as I am not as caught up with the Halo lore. Worth getting for Halo alumns and first person shooter fans alike.

The story is amazing and really fun and interactive. The graphics are amazing! Like a movie! The online is great, as well. Other than the die hard gamers that make the game unenjoyable, i think the way they pair matches is fair. But it is very fun and i enjoy the game.

It's Halo and continues the series. Graphics are as good as past games and gameplay is very easy to get accustomed if you have never played the series. I would start from the beginning to get the full Halo experience.

Halo 5: Guardians is great! My only gripe is that there is no split screen play for co-op or vs. my favorite part of playing Halo has always been playing side by side on the couch with friends and now that part is gone. Great game overall.
