The story is getting crazier and crazier with each Halo. The game play is good. The real problem lies with the multi-player. Stop chasing the COD type play, and be Halo for what it is.

We've waited five long years for a new Halo game, and Halo 5 Guardians does not disappoint! Excellent graphics, game play, and multiplayer. Super fun playing co-op with friends! Halo 5 brings back that Halo 3 magic we all have missed. Well done!

I was late to get Halo Master Chief Collection (and that was a positive apparently). So far this game has been a good addition to the Halo family. I've played mostly multiplayer, but the bit of campaign I've played in co-op mode has been solid.

The campaign leaves a lot to be desired, as it is incredibly short and doesn't match the hype of the commercials and the media. The multiplayer is quite good, though the launch map count is a bit weak (only 3 Warzone and 5 Slayer, but 18 free DLC maps are coming). The game could stand to be balanced a little better, but in true Halo fashion, it does a much better job of balance than dealing with the hyper-complex setups in a game like Call of Duty. Really, it's a nice game that just hurts for more content. More multiplayer maps. More story content. Just more of this, and I'd have been much happier.

Been a fan of the Halo series since the first game and while not every game is perfect this one is still fun for the campaign and has an awesome multiplayer component to go along with it.

343 improves the multiplayer on this Halo...the new req system, even though it isnt unique and kinda confusing in the beginning, gives you something to work toward. The campaign offers a decent story but is too short.

Halo 5 is a great package for fans of the series. Multiplayer is a return to form for fans, and it might be the best since Halo 2. The singleplayer campaign is decent but also falls to some shortcomings. Still, a much better outing than Halo 4.

Looks great, plays great, smooth, a must have title for your Xbox one. Alot more people use mics in multiplayer which is a bonus. Also has a fun competitive arena ranking system similar to cs go. Highly recommended that you purchase this game.

My review is only on the Single Player Campaign. I think the storyline is great and the graphics are top notch. I really like how now you can use iron sights on each weapon now. The battlefields are really big too. I highly recommend the game.

This game brought me in with the brand, kept me there with the story telling, pinned me down with the smooth gaming controls, and hooked me with the online multiplayer extras. Halo is here to stay ladies and gentlemen and this game proves it.

Campaign is fun and entertaining throughout, but I think the multiplayer is what draws people in. Very fun and competitive, and thank goodness no problems like the master chief collection had. you'll enjoy this game

This is the best version of Halo to be released! I was skeptical at first, but after playing it for the first 5 minutes, i quickly realized that is was the best one of the series and that it made up for the last couple of bombs in the series.

The multiplayer modes of this game are great as always for the series, though there could still be room for some additional game types. The inclusion of fireteams makes it easier to create a group and the requisition system is good though it takes some time to fully understand how it works. The campaign mode of this game feels short and not as epic as some last titles though, especially compared to the previews for this game which seemed to promise a much different scenario than what actually happens. Luckily the multiplayer makes up for this, and playing co-op with friends on the campaign is much improved over the last couple titles in the Halo series. It would have been even better had 343 not done away with split screen on this game.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable game! Same great multiplayer experience, plus epic campaign. Found the ad campaign a little misleading as far as the story goes, but that didn't take away too much from the enjoyment.

Halo 5 continues the saga of Master Chief and introduces new characters to the Halo universe. It plays very well, and is very fun when playing with friends in campaign mode. Multiplayer is incredible and greatly improved from past versions.

Halo 5 multiplayer online gaming is very fun and diverse. I am currently learning the different modes of play and having a great time learning them. I have not played the Campaign yet but am looking forward to it.

This is the best mutliplayer the series has ever had and the campaign is just right. I initially thought I would not like the 4 player co-op through the campaign but I really enjoyed the different spin on the action it brought to the game.

Good game that follows the Halo Universe. The action was tight and the graphics were outstanding. The campaign is relatively short and the story was only decent (could've been much better and longer IMO). My son and I both finished the campaign in 2 days of playing (less than 3 hours each day). Sure, there's more to explore to get all the skulls and what not , but for a AAA game, campaigns should be in the 15-20 hour range. The biggest drawback is that co-op is on-line only. That means I'd have to buy another XBox One to play with my son like we've done in past games. No spilt-screen? This really puts a damper on things because folks can't play together in the same room any more. Come on 343 Industries - you can do better than that.

Halo 5 Guardians is a major improvement from halo 4 with its superb multiplayer and interesting campaign although it's not as long as I'd like it to be, it could have also had side modes like Halo 4's Spartan ops

The 60 fps makes a huge difference as the game plays beautifully. The story is about 7 hours so a little short in terms of a campaign but the multiplayer is really fun. The war-zone with 12 on 12 is a lot of fun.
