Played most of the halo franchise, wasn't greatly impressed by this one. Maybe it's just more of the same that weighs in my opinion. Gave it 3 stars because it was solid (like the whole franchise), but not anything fresh about it.

Haven't played much of the campaign to give a good honest review but not impressed with the multiplier. Feels like something is missing from the controls. Wish the multiplayer was similar to the days of old when Halo 2 was around.

2 stars only because I am a devout Halo fan but we have been betrayed! No split screen is a deal breaker for me as I love the 4 player couch experience. The ball was dropped here!

When I first picked up this game I was most excited about the campaign mode and it delivered, it was great. But the pvp mode wasn't as great as I hoped coming from all the other halo games I wish they could of done a lot more

Definitely best halo game so far because even if solo you get 3 AI companions to help you along campaign, but you can't even see multiplayer maps without active LIVE subscription and just no real wow factor or amazing addon.

Amazing campaign and really good multiplayer, this game will have you pulling all nighters every night

I don’t feel is a halo game. I grow up with this franchise, I absolutely love the original trilogy, but the fourth and the fifth games do not feel part of the saga.

Subpar Halo adventure. Beat the campaign really easily, played multiplayer for a day then traded it in. Maybe the most disappointing Halo game to date.

I am a long time Halo fan and really feel disappointed in the campaign gameplay. Haven't had much of a chance to play multiplayer, but the overall feel is just very sluggish to me. Maybe it's just too much Destiny.

I waited way too long to pick up the latest Halo title. My wife and I really enjoy the co-op modes, and so far the multiplayer has been far more stable than Destiny, or 2 of the 3 most recent CoD entries. The "balance" of the multiplayer seems to be a lot better thought out, as far as everyone starting each match from the same place and the hundreds of customization options make it easy to make your Spartan your own. If nothing else, the fact that all the additional content is 100% free puts this game WAY above all the money treadmills out there these days *cough* destiny *cough*

Just like Halo 4, this game doesn't have the same "Halo" feel as Halo 3 did. Fast paced shooter, but doesn't live up to the standard set by Halo 3.

Love the game. The only downfall is it doesn't have multiplayer outside of LIVE so we can't play with the kids and the kids can't play with each other. Because of that, it doesn't get played as often.
