Campaign was fun and interactive but was a little convoluted for people not up with the Halo lore outside of the games-multiplayer is fun but lacks the feel of older Halo multiplayer-trying to do too much than just stick with what works. Overall still a great game but hoping 343 gets back to Halo roots with the next installment

As far as single player, its probably the weakest entry. You play most of the game as Spartan Locke. He has no character and doesn't develop at all. The entire campaign could have been made into a 10 minute cutscene with the game starting where it actually ends. People keep saying that this game sets up the next Halo to have an awesome story. I ask you this: Can you name a Halo sequel that picks up where one left off? One that doesn't require books to bridge the gap? Reach to Halo: CE doesn't count. Multiplayer is what you would expect from Halo. Its pretty solid but the maps all seem pretty similar. The reward system is pretty good. You get random cosmetic upgrades so you don't feel forced into using a helmet just because it was unlocked at your highest level. Nothing really ground breaking, but just enough to keep you playing. TLDR: Weak story, multiplayer is pretty much what you would expect.

Halo never fails. Great graphics, good storyline, plenty of action!

First off, great game. Halo is back with avengance since its disaster of Halo 4. Just give it a chance, the gameplay is great, new abilities. Yes, it's a little different but that's why we get new versions. These changes are for the best. MC is a futurist action hero and the gameplay is finally there. Is it perfect no, but you tell what game is... I'll wait.

Multiplayer is fun and lots of variations of games to play. Yes war zone is fun with big maps which there are only three for now, Heard there will be free DLC coming soon. Lots of other maps for other game types. I am more than half way through campaign and find it alright still yet to find any skulls. So if you like online Mayhem buy lots of fun to be had.

Don't worry if you haven't played the previous versions (even though I have) and don't know the story line because they bring you up to speed with the events that lead to.. well, you'll have to play to find out. And even if you don't care about the story line its still a lot of fun to play and that's really all that matter, right? no glitches just good fun.
