I haven’t finished the campaign yet but I really like it so far. The game looks great and plays well. The multiplayer is fun and they’re adding more modes in future updates

Halo Finite
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Halo has had it fairly rough the past few years, with the terrible TV series, the Master Chief collection issues, and just generally forgettable games after Reach, and it's sad to say that this is the best Halo game in quite some time, and that's not saying much. I get why Microsoft demands more titles being released, as this is their premiere flagship title for Xbox, easily a system seller since it's inception in 2001, but this game should serve as a reminder to maybe get new developers on board. The story is familiar, the graphics and gameplay are familiar (with a few newer touches, mainly the retractable hook attachment) and everything just seems like cozy fan service. It's not a bad game per se, but it's just very, very afraid of leaving their comfort zone, especially after Halo 5 did that with their story. But at least take a chance and do something more interesting here Microsoft and 343. At least the multiplayer mode is fun, but the micro transactions are not worth playing more than a few rounds, but at least you don't need the physical or digital copy to play the multiplayer, since it's free out the gate. Honestly, if you can grab this game for cheap, like say sub $20 like I did ($14.99 is a solid price), it's not terrible, it's just rather rote and pedantic. At least last and new gen players on Xbox can play this, and that's about the highest praise I can give.

Master Chief in an open world…
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great and quite a different spin on the usual Halo experience. This game is based in an open world environment where you can play in a huge map full of quests, enemies, and secrets. Equipped with a grappling hook, you can explore cliffs and caves with ease.

The campaign is expansive and beautiful, and the multiplayer is some of the best I’ve played in a while!

Wellworth the wait
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was suppose to get this last year for Christmas. It was well worth the wait. Have been a Halo fan from the first game. The graphics keep getting better and the story line is great.

Needs more content, but that means it's good
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The fact that I want more is a good thing. The single player campaign is amazing and feels ridiculously fun to play. Some will complain that there isn't enough here and that the story doesn't feel finished, but I disagree. This is obviously the beginning of a new saga and it never pretends to be anything other than that. Sure, there are a lot of loose ends and unanswered questions, but they didn't leave me disappointed, they left me wanting more. The multiplayer is free to play so all I'll say is that it's great, but it again needs more content. It's coming, but if all you want is multiplayer, you'll want to wait.

Great Game
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Halo is back and it's better than ever. Multiplayer mode is awesome and the campaign/story is pretty on point too. I think Halo is pretty much my favorite video game overall.

Story Matters
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Halo brought back its FPS roots. I wish the story was more involved, but it's better than Halo 5 was. A must have for any FPS fan and graphically is great on the Series X. A nice long campaign that I felt was chalked on normal difficulty.

Halo infinite
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying the campaign mode It seems new, and fresh. Haven't had a chance to enjoy the multiplayer mode yet. The multiplayer does look to be a next generation gaming experience. Unfortunately myself and many of my friends have yet to receive the preorder DLC.

Halo Infinite
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I play any game I play for the story and game control and this game had a very good story and the control was very good as well. I had a hard time shutting the game down after playing many hours because I was so into the story. There was only one glich in the game that effected the sound, it made a high pitch noise and then went silent. I simply shut the game and consol off for a few min. and then turned it back on again . I had no more problems for the rest of the game. I know that many gamers play the multi player part of the game , I do not and can not comment on it. Over all I had a great time playing it.

Halo never disappoints
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Halo is one of the best exclusive franchise titles in history. This is fun and a good extension of the franchise but probably more fun to play online than campaign.

Return to Form
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a lot of expectations from Halo Infinite after how disappointing Halo 5 Guardians was, especially in the campaign department. I'm happy to say that, for me at least, Halo Infinite really delivers. The open world style of the campaign adds a lot to do, but mostly avoids becoming a giant list of icons to check off of a map. The story is strong and the characters are well done. I don't think it quite reaches the heights of the original trilogy, but it's a step in the right direction for sure. Multiplayer is fun, but it feels incomplete at this point. There isn't much to work towards once you've completed the battle pass and the event rewards feel lackluster for the effort they require. I also thing the store is overpriced. I think this will all be fixed in time and for me the campaign was the thing I was really wanting Halo Infinite to get right and thankfully it did.

Almost 5 stars from a Halo 1-3'er
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't played a Halo game much since the days of Halo 3 and I have to say I'm really enjoying this game. It is close enough to the old multiplayer games in feel/response/gunplay that I feel comfortable, but also has great new changes to make it fresh. I would have given it 5 stars, but I don't love the multiplayer 'leveling' system that is currently in place. You only gain XP for unlocks by completing challenges, but not really based on how well you play in a given game or not. I do like the idea of challenges, but I'm left itching for some reward or xp based on how well i do in a game. Or maybe even after getting some medal type in a game for the first time. Second criticism is that the campaign still doesn't have the online Co-op in place. I'm really excited to play through the campaigns with my friends and am bummed we are still having to wait.

Cool, cool!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Halo Infinite is a wonderful addition to the Halo franchise, with a robust cross-platform multiplayer that boasts several different gameplay modes to engage in with your friends and enemies. The armor is cute, the single-player mode is pretty great. If you like collectibles, open world games, and FPS titles you'll probably enjoy it.
