If you've never played the early Halo games than this is a must buy. Start with Halo: Combat Evolved and work your way through this Epic story telling franchise. These are incredible first person shooters not to be missed by fans of the genre.

I have played Halo since the first day. At that time Bungie was the developer and the gameplay was great. After Microsoft Studios brought in a new developer, things changed and for me it was not for the better.

I bought this when it came out and soon sold it back because nothing worked but 313 has finally figured it out and I have bought it again and everything works like it was supposed to would give it 5/5 but since the terrible 4 month period it took them to fix it I cant.

The imagery and graphics are amazing. But the control is a bit chunky. Online play has been impossible to connect to. Better review if this option was available. Maybe be better when the Halo 5 beta is up and running.

The games are awesome. I love the nostalgia; however, the load times and ease of connection for multiplayer are horrendous. I have yet to play a match in matchmaking after having the game since release (6 days ago).

I was very excited to play Halo on Xbox One but was let down with massive install time and the matchmaking server problems. I feel like the gameplay changed but it might just be me. The Halo 5 Beta is pretty good.

For Halo fans, this is a must have in your Library Collection. It may not necessarily be a new experience, it's awesome to be able to play all missions in any order, and be able to play the originals without needing to bring out the old systems.

For fans of Halo, who started off playing the Bungie games way back on the original XBOX, this is a travesty. The online multiplayer that everyone was so excited about, DOES NOT WORK! Not only does it take hours to connect to a match, if it connects at all, it does NOT include every map from Halo 1,2,3 and 4- just a select sampling. The remastered campaigns look great, but if you've played them before, that's not a big enough draw. This game was supposed to be an all inclusive Halo multiplayer providing all the maps from every master chief centered halo game, and that function of the game isn't complete and doesn't work. 343 basically released a poorly tested unfinished game and ruined the Halo experience. You're better off pulling out the old XBOX or XBOX360 and playing your original copies on the old system. Do not waste your money on this game.

I bought an Xbox One to play through the Halo games. They are great as a package of games. Halo 5 is a little boring, but I still think it is a great shooter game.

It's great to have servers up and running for old halo games, and its well remastered but it's glitchy and a bit gimmicky and there's some convolution and unnecessary complication to the playlist settings.

Decided to try to play all of them before Infinite came out. Glad they put all of them in one so I would have the opportunity to. Excited to play!

This was a Christmas present for my 16 year old grandson. It was by request and he is a fairly serious gamer so I'm sure it must be good.

One of the worst launches since Battlefield 4. The multiplayer did not work and there were so many bugs. The only reason it gets a 3 is because when it does work it is freakin sweet! Hopefully 343 fixes it soon.

A great collection of the most influential first person shooter games ever made.

This is what the Halo fans have wanted since the XBOX ONE was introduced. The Master Chief Collection gives all four games on one console. I am a fan of XBOX because of the Halo series. If you are a fan you have to add this to your collection

For the better part of this new century, a game with "Halo" in the title has been one of the best places to romp around with friends, test your mettle against stiff challenges, and compete for glory on the online stage. Halo: The Master Chief Collection brings four of those games together in one package, and it does so with a crisp, organizational flair that makes it immediately inviting. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 are laid out in such a way that no matter what mode you're angling for, it's easy to find your way to it, tweak the options just so, and set off down memory lane. Where that road may lead you, however, remains uncertain.

I mean it’s halo if you haven’t played it yet, your missing out. But all the games bundled is so much better for me personally, all I can say is you won’t be disappointed.

I was given a pass by Xbox to play this game. Sure enough I liked it. I hope it saves my progress though. Can’t wait to finish the story.
