The original release had a lot of issues, but in the years since, most have been polished out, & this is a must have for any FPS fan with an Xbox 1. With the addition of Reach & ODST, you could easily get 100hrs out of the single player alone, combined with all the multiplayer maps & modes from halo 1-4, reach, ODST, it's the most complete package any can could ask for from a FPS.

Now this is how you do an HD collection. This is an excellent value overall. The campaigns are just as good as I remember and they all look and sound better than ever. This would have been an easy 5 star rating but the multiplayer is currently having a lot of issues so I had to knock a star off for that. Once they finally get the multiplayer all set, this is a no brainer if you're new to Halo or just want to replay through a fantastic franchise.

Updated graphics are nice. Can swap between original & updated graphics. Game play is still amazing.

By far the best reboot of a game or games and all Halo games in one and for one price. Just proves Halo has stood the test of time.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he was a huge halo fan. He really enjoys the game and likes how it comes with the other games.

Everything about Halo The Master Chief collection screams value. You get 4 games, 2 that are remastered from their original, and over 100 multiplayer maps to battle it out on. The issue is I have found playing any of the games split screen with a friend causes the frame rate to constantly fluctuate.This can get eally annoying when big action scenes are present, and it can cause a lot of people headaches since it fluctuates so often. If you are playing over Live nd have the screen to yourself, its great. Google For the Love of Gaming for more Reviews.

I really like being able to play Halo on the Xbox One. Totally worth it. Halo 2 is fun, but there is no sprinting so remember that when purchasing.

The story line is great and awesome to have couch-coop play but it's hard to find online play at times due to people playing halo 5.

You get 4 games for the price of one. You'll find yourself flipping between the old and remastered graphics constantly. Great buy!

It's really not difficult to imagine what you are getting with this purchase. Hence my very literal review title. If you were a fan of the first four halo games (not including ODST and Reach) then I see no reason why you would dislike this bundle. It includes the first two remastered in brilliant HD and everything you could ask for from 3 and 4. The campaigns are great, but the only thing holding this game back from a perfect score is the online. It was initially very laggy and it still has not gotten much better...Here's hoping for a patch soon.

You don't need me to tell you what a great bundle this is. If you're considering buying this, you already know about the magnificence that is Halo. You already know that you're about to spend countless hours working out your thumbs, living on Doritos, Mountain Dew, and posibbly Dewritos. Do yourself a favor and buy a nice pair of pants before you start your glorious binge of blowing up Grunts and slicing through Covenant forces- you'll need them after you stain your current pair a nice Doritos orange color.

I’ve been a fan of “Halo” since it came out in 2001! I eventually switched over to the PlayStation, but when I came back to the Xbox, I was glad that this collection was here to help me catch back up with the series. I’m also glad that they have since added “Halo 3: ODST” and that it has been stated that “Halo: Reach” may be added at a later date. A definite must have for fan of the genre defining shooter!

Bought this game opening day many moons ago, got rid of it due to all the bugs in online. Like an absurd amount of bugs, load times, connection issues etc. YEARS later it is actually worth picking up cause all that has been fixed. Release of it was a debacle. Has halo 1-4 on it. buy it for 1, 2, 3. 4 was trash and the "remastered" halo 2 is trash, but the original one still fun to play. Disc contains 1-4 plus the redone 2.

If you loved Halo the first then this is the perfect addition for your collection!!!! Great graphics and lots of cool content.

My son saw me playing Halo 5 one day and wanted to play Halo with me. Since we couldn't play co-op in Halo 5 I decided to go pick this gem up from Best Buy. He loves being able to play co-op with me in the older Halo games and I love the blast from the past feeling I get playing the classic oldies. I've played Destiny for so long, it was crazy going back in time and seeing how far Bungie has come in game development.

I owned the first three Halo games for the original Xbox and this is a very welcome addition to the current generation. Graphics have been updated and some minor gameplay tweaks were made. This collection is a blast and I look forward to playing the games in depth. The one caveat is that these games do show their age even if they were updated. Don’t expect the polish of more modern FPS games.

The MCC has the potential to be one of the greatest games ever made. However, inadequate testing has led to a very buggy experience. 343 claims they have been working around the clock to deliver fixes and to improve matchmaking wait times, but it's still hard to find games especially in a group setting. With that being said, when this game does work, it's amazing. And aside from the multiplayer aspect the remastered campaign looks great. I would definitely buy this game again in a heartbeat, I just wouldn't take the day off next time...

Game has a ton of content and is excellent if you haven't played the Halo series in a while. Way to get caught up on series before Halo 5

I have always had PlayStation, and, as a result, have never really had the chance to get into any Halo game. This collection is awesome because I get to experience the best of both worlds. The remastered world that looks and feels more modern and up-to-date, but I can also choose to play through the games and experience it the way I would have if I had had an Xbox as a kid. Nothing disappointing about this, and I am now among the Halo fan community, if a bit later than I'd like.

Got this while it was on sale, have only played a little so far, been busy with other games. Graphics look great, has all the Halo games.
