It remasters the old games and allows you to also play in the old version graphics we all grew up loving. All that's missing is that gigantic controller we were al used to. I can't even say how many hours my friends and I spent around the X-Box playing this game. It's good to have mostly everything here. It would be great if they remade all the Fables & the KOTOR 1 & 2 and maybe even some of the other classics.

Playing these campaigns remind me of a simpler time. I realized Halo 1 and 2 are very, very difficult compared to 3 and 4 and all of the other FPS out there today. Halo 2 looks amazing. Plays better than I remember. 1080p and 60FPS makes a huge difference. I was astonished. Can't comment on much of the multiplayer at this time, as I have mostly focused on single player. I heard the connectivity problems are getting resolved. I need more friends to play with.

The master chief collection is a must have for any xbox players. Access to all of the original games, with updated graphics that bring back the best nostalgic feelings, while gameplay is unaffected. 10/10 would recommend and would buy again.

I have played all of the Halos on both the original Xbox and the 360. These games were always great and now they have a graphics and frame rate upgrade. There were a lot of complaints about the online multiplayer, but that never pertained to me. I usually stick to the campaign by myself or play with my girlfriend split screen. There are NO problems with that. I you are concerned about online multiplayer, most of those problems have been patched now.

The best thing about this little gadget is the portability not to mention that it gets the job done It can be taken from room to room with ease I have 2 of them and gave one to my father and father in law. The price is excellent even at regular price $35.00 I bought mine for $29.00 and it came with a credit from Google to use at the play store for anything from movies to games or music. I cant wait to see what the next one will do, great job Google!!!.

My kids enjoy this game. They say it never gets old and they love the cinematic story.

This is a great value for the XBox platform. Included are all four previous Halo versions that are very playable on the platform. A fifth program, the Halo 5 beta was included if you purchased the product before the end of January. I would encourage other developers to release "best of" compendiums on the Xbox1 platform. I would love to see a Call of Duty release that would include the first five titles released on the original XBox and the XBox 360.

I bought the original Xbox just for Halo. When my kid was little me and him would play on the Xbox. So this collection brings back memories. I played Halo 2 just online and Halo 3 I beat on Legendary. This game is must have since it helped push Microsoft's Xbox Live service years ago.

A great way to revisit old classics. Multiplayer issues and extremely large download files aside I would recommend this.

Yes, the matchmaking is broken right now but they'll fix that soon. Reliving the old halo 2 maps online is just great. If you're a halo fan you have to get this. All maps made for each game are all included for free. There's a possibility of them remaking more of the halo 2 maps but they haven't said anything about that yet. There's currently 6 remade maps for halo 2 anniversary playlist. Yes, there's a playlist for only original halo 2 maps.

all 4 halo games look and run great (Halo 2 being remastered is a bonus) in single player. joining multiplayer matches online can take quite a while sometimes though. if your more into online multiplayer I would recommend checking if Microsoft has fixed patched it before buying, but if you just want to replay the campaigns of Halo 1-4 by yourself or with a friend in local co-op Its a great value

My son and I absolutely love this collection. Everything all in one, the multi-player maps all consolidated into one place is incredible. Only complaint would be that it appears they have removed the ability to customize individual components of your armor and you have to pick an entire suit. Color selection is also drastically reduced. Doesn't affect gameplay which is awesome but we loved the ability to fine-tune our armor and make it unique. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars.

Incredible collection of games, great way to play through most of Halo's legacy. Ability to switch between old and new graphic styles is pretty incredible.
