My review pertains to the single player portion of the game. My first Halo game was Reach and I absolutely loved that game and even better that it leads to the Master Chief story. Have only started playing Halo CE and I currently having a blast playing it. I love the Halo universe and can't wait to invest a lot of more time into the series. Great package and would urge any Halo fan to pick up.

I've never been that good at first person shooters game unless it's with a mouse and keyboard. Over the years, I've gotten a bit better so have been playing them more, but I really wanted to go back and play some of the big hits that I missed. Halo was at the top of that list and this collection delivers in spades. It doesn't hurt that the web-series, Nightfall, was an awesome included bonus!

343 Industries did a super job of combining the Halo 1-4 series into a nice neat little package. Who would have thought playing remastered versions of 13 year old games would still be a lot of fun. With over 100 multiplayer maps this set has unlimited potential. Xbox live is experiencing major overload isssues with the multiplayer, lets hope this is a temporary issue. Worth the money just to replay the campaigns on XBOX one.

I played Halo back on the original XBox and it's awesome then and now with a Master Chief collection is even better! The collection set has multiple games! And you get to combat multiplayer mode just like the old days or if your new to it, give this game series a try! You won't be disappointed with this first person shooter!

Awesome having all of the games together. Graphics are nice and smooth.

If you're a fan of the Halo series but have struggled with not having some of the older versions that are compatible with your new Xbox One, this collection solves your problems. Seems like a lot of the graphics have been re-rendered or perhaps its just that the new platform is doing a better job, but whatever it is, we like the improved look of the older games!

A very neat collection of Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4. The graphics were top notch. It is full of multi-player modes, spartan ops, an array of weapons, and you can play as different characters. You aren't solely obligated to play as Master Chief. A downloadable Halo Channel from the XBOX store is a nice add on, and it comes with 5 episodes of a TV show. Must buy if you're a Halo fan.

A must game for the Xbox One. This game looks incredible! Online play is a blast!

I bought this because I wanted to replay halo and halo 2, and it's just I remembered. What makes this collection better is that halo 1 and 2 have graphical overhauls that modernize the experience. Best of all, you can switch between the original graphics and the new graphics at any time. It's scary how I thought halo 2's graphics were amazing. Now it all looks so bland.

I am blown away that Microsoft offered all of these games for one price. I am absolutely loving being able to relive some memories. The layout of choosing which game/ mission you want to play is amazing and you can jump right in wherever you want. I heard that the online play is having some problems, but Bungie is working on it. Definitely recommend this to anybody who enjoys Halo at all.

I've mostly played the first Halo (Combat Evolved) in single player, and on that level the game is fantastic. Cpt. Keyes looks weird, but other than that it is the same great Halo game that I've always loved with much better looking graphics. On top of that you get the other Halo games as well, making this a great bargain. I haven't played the multiplayer much, but I have read that it is plagued with problems.

Yes, they remastered every Halo game and put it into one complete package. This is the original Halo for the 1st gen of Xbox and all the subsequent games yes even Halo 2 the graphics are absolutely amazing, the MP still has some ongoing issues and achievements wouldn't unlock but the patches are now coming in and new/updated content is being released. you really can't beat this though all the games one low price?

This game combines Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 all on one platform. Would be a fantastic game except for the fact that there are several issues with matchmaking play involving the server. Also occasional the game will freeze, take too long to load, and not save progress on campaigns. Unfortunately this could have been a great game if not for it's flaws. Regardless of the issues I still gave this game four stars.

Game has some bugs but it's just as fun as I remember with much better graphics.

Awesome, the Halo 2 remaster is gorgeous. Online is broken, but getting better.

Brings the amazing story of Master Chief John 117 together in a nice package and gives remastered versions of the first two games. These are must play games for those who never experienced Halo and great way for those who have played Halo to jump right back in.

I bought this game for my son who is 12 this year. I personally do not know anything about games, but if he is still playing this game even after 2-3 months after the games release, I'd say it's a good purchase since he has so many other games to play from. One thing I will say about the game is that it's graphics are noticeably better from the previous installments of Halo that I have watched my son playing.

The updated graphics are awesome. The game play is just as smooth as ever.

Simply put: if you're a long-time Halo fan, you must have this for your Xbox One collection. Every multiplayer map (minus the Reach maps), every level, everything that you could ever want, all on one disc. The multiplayer issues are fixed, so you can jump right in and play all of your favorite maps just how you remember them. I've had countless hours already and can't put it down.
