i played the first halo on pc years ago then removed few yrs later reinstalled and played and uninstalled when done. recently wanted to play and could not get it to install. so i bought an xbox . its been redone from the pc version and has 4 games. their goes my free time.

Great game, downloaded fairly quickly on the system without any issues. Multiplayer issues are known on the game with long wait times but 343 Industries made patches and development improvements to speed up the wait times. However, fantastic game and the hype was right on point, true Halo fan must have.

I was a high Halo player back in the day, and I really love the single player in this collection. I am bummed out by the current issues with matchmaking, but I have high hopes that 343 will fix the problems. This would be five stars if the multiplayer worked all the time. If you have never played a Halo game, this is a must buy.

I waited after the issues were fixed, and the game is definitely playable now. Love the homage to all the halo games. Only two things I wish this game had... 1) ability to choose what maps to play in the lobby from the entire list 2) halo reach campaign

This game, not only contains a legendary series, but it also contains some of the most beautiful graphics I've ever seen. You can choose to play the game through the touched up, original designs, or play through the new design of the levels. It is gorgeous, and everything I expected it to be, and more.

Having the updated, anniversary editions makes it so much more fun. It adds a layer of fascination to an already fun game. My son constantly toggles between the original versions and the anniversary updated graphics in game play... he just likes to view how everything looks in before & after.

This game is full of awesomeness! Besides the upgraded versions of the first four games, you also get access to the Halo live action movie, Nightfall. I got this while it was on sale and it was well worth it. So much stuff in this game... (This game does not include ODST or Halo Wars.)

This is a good price point for anybody who has never had the chance to play the Halo games until now. It is also nice for ease of accessibility for old fans who want to replay the old games, but do not want to change out each game from the console if they want to play one of the other 4 titles in the collection.

My son is a Halo enthusiast! He has all of the Halo games. I was uncertain as to how much fun it would be since it was an enhanced version of the old versions, but he loves it! When he is not attempting to conquer a level, he is creating his own championship maze! Once again, no disappointments here.

Awesome Pic For Halo Fans : Note Only Comes With 4 Games But You Can Buy The Other 2 Additional Games On Xbox Game Pass Worth It.

I had been itching to go back and play the original Xbox games, and this definitely scratched that itch. The games performed flawlessly and looked great with the visual updates on Xbox One X (to the point they looked like late gen Xbox 360 games).

Played the series since day one. Now with this collection I have gotten it for my neices and introduced it them and they love it

I love the Halo series. They are near and dear to my heart. The campaigns are so fun and a great walk down memory lane. However the multiplayer is not ideal. It was terrible but has gotten a lot better but still is sub par to some other multiplayer experiences like Call of Duty and the like. Still recommend buying it.

By far the best collection ever! If you owned the original Halo back in 2001 when the xbox was released and Halo2 in 2004 I promise that you'l be satisfy with this game. Plus you get Halo3, ODST, and Halo 4.Halo 2 has by far the best graphics ever :) Best buy also price match the game :)

Four games for the price of one and they run great.

I've always loved the Halo franchise and I'm very glad that they made it so you could have all of the Master Chief games in one console. The graphics and smooth transitions are breathtaking, especially when you can instantly compare them to the old graphics. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I loved playing through all the campaigns again and Halo 2 Anniversary is amazing. I wish the matchmaking was working better. I would sit there for 10 minutes sometimes before it starts find players or not connect at all. Other than that.....its awesome. Matchmaking should get better, launch was probably just congested.

I was elated to hear that 343 was going to bring all the classic Halo games to the next gen console. Like many, that enthusiasm quickly dissipated as the multiplayer lobbies have been plagued with connectivity issues. Halo 2 looks fantastic, and is still fun to set up a private lobby and play with friends (like many of us used to do). Wish that you could choose to join a lobby for each specific game, rather than play "slayer" that throws you in maps from multiple titles. I'm usually in a mood to just play one title, and going back and forth between different abilities, weapons, and most noticeable graphics evolution keeps me from getting in a good rhythm! Also been waiting for the release of the previously offered lobbies for players to share custom maps and game modes. Definitely add a lot of value to the latter games and let others reap the benefit of your forge creations!

I just started playing Halo and this was the best purchase since it includes a ton of Halo games. I am playing this on a Series X and the graphics are amazing.

but its not without its flaws there been some updates but the online is still not perfect if you are trying to play competitively however Online Coop when you're doing the story missions works really good and I love that we still have the split screen co op so you and a friend can so hang out and play through the game
