this game is good but not great. If you loved the original Halo Wars than you will love this game. If you have never played Halo wars than maybe give this a rent before you buy. Its short and not great

Not what you’re expecting if you think it’s like typical halo games. Not my cup of tea, but for those who like a real time strategy game and like the halo concept/story then buy it.

Found this on clearance recently, and bought two copies. I have been playing with my son who's uncannily good at these types of games. One day I will beat him at this real-time strategy game. I don't like the 80 unit limit on troops. Otherwise, great game.

It's always hard with sequels to compete against the original however, Halo Wars 2 lives up to the hype. Keeping the same feel and love with improved mechanics it's a game all Halo fans will sure to love.

Game play better but I'm about storyline and the first ones storyline was longer and had more cinematic. Grant it this one is a short polished up version is ok

good if you like the first one. Not for me though due to it being constrained by controller, whereas I prefer strategy games designed for keyboard and mouse.

I was a huge fan of the original Halo Wars, and this game blows it out of the water. I have had so much fun playing this game, and I still can't get over how much new content and game modes are in this game. Couldn't be more impressed with Halo Wars 2.

Halo Wars 2 is just kinda there, if you really love Halo and Halo Wars, you'll probably like it. But it's a very buggy single player experience.

Compared to the last one this one was very short and full of cut scenes which is my biggest complaint but I still enjoyed it while it lasted.

They did a very good job making the controls functional for a console, but the game is short and lacks a lot of variety.

This is a good addition to the franchise, much better campaign story than Halo 4 or Halo 5. Multiplayer modes can be fast or slow depending on what you want.

These games are always better on PC. I have on Xbox and it's a little tough to control...looks good though.

Here’s the skinny. If you like RTS and Halo, get it. If you like RTS and only have a console, get it. If you like RTS, are indifferent to halo, and have a PC, there are better options. Slow start, lots of easing into the game. Too boring for me ( I like some RTS, love halo, but this was just too heavy on the hand holding). So little time to play games, this just wasn’t engaging enough for me personally.
